Quest: The Chains of Super-Craig

Rewards: ability to throw the Snap N Pops at objects to make them fall down or set them on fire; companion: Super-Craig.

An enemy that isn't interested in you can be attacked with a fart.

Head west to start this quest. When you reach the second part of the neighborhood, you will have to face your first enemy in an unassisted fight. The tutorial informs you that you can "throw farts" at enemies that don't pay attention to your character - press (triangle/Y) and then hit them. This gives you an advantage because that enemy receives Grossed Out status (a chance for receiving additional damage).

Pick up the Snap N Pop that are near a cage - they are your ability.

Reach the end of the street and find Super-Craig's house (M2,3). Go inside and head to the basement. Complete the following actions to catch the guinea pig:

• Pick up a box of Snap N Pop,
• Enter Inspection Mode and shoot the vent grate near the ceiling,
• Throw a Snap N Pop at a box with fireworks on the table,
• Move the laundry basket on the right (hold (X/A)),
• Use Fart (triangle/Y) to lure out the animal from the vent grate near the floor.

This completes the quest. Super-Craig is now your ally.

Reward: The Human Kite companion

It doesn't matter how this fight plays out for you - this enemy can't be defeated before he performs all of his plot-related actions.

Go west to Kyle's house (M1,1). Follow the boy and enter his room. There, you must face his cousin. You don't have to win the fight - the enemy will defeat himself. Simply use any of your attacks and don't waste any of the items that you have. After that you should take a selfie with Kyle and pick up a Character Sheet from the drawer near the bed.
