How to unlock the quest?
The Dragon's Tears main quest will be unlocked after completing Impa and the Geoglyphs. After you find the first Tear of the Dragon, Impa will ask you to meet her at the Forgotten Temple.
How to find Impa in the Forgotten Temple?
Forgotten Temple lies at the bottom of the Tanagar canyon. The quest marker will lead you there.


Descend into the canyon and find the entrance to the abandoned temple.

Keep going straight until you reach the Mayausiy Shrine, where Impa will be standing.

Go to the next room and head down. Talk to Impa and Cado. Go back up and use the Camera to take a photo of the map. Find the remaining 10 geoglyphs and collect all Tears of the Dragon.

You will discover the first Tear of the Dragon while completing the Impa and the Geoglyphs main quest - examine the left eye of Rauru.

You will find another Tear of the Dragon east of Rito Village. Investigate the place above the castle gate.

The third Tear of the Dragon is northeast of Lookout Landing. Investigate the place in the middle of Purah Pad.

The next Tear of the Dragon is located in the West Necluda region. Investigate the place on Molduga's back.

The fifth Tear of the Dragon is near the Gerudo Desert. Examine the tear on Gonondorf's shoulder.

The next Tear of the Dragon is near the Hyrule Ridge region. Examine the tear on Sonia's hair.

You will find this Tear of the Dragon at the southeastern edge of the map. Examine the tear on the dagger's handle.

You will find the Tear of the Dragon near the Hebra region. Investigate the place above the right hand of the geoglyph.

The next Tear of the Dragon is at Lanayru Sea. Examine the tear shown in the above picture.

Another Tear of the Dragon is located near Lake Hylia. Examine the tear on the left side of the geoglyph.

The eleventh Tear of the Dragon is near the Eldin Mountains. Examine the tip of the sword blade.

Once you obtain 11 Tears of the Dragon, the twelfth geoglyph will appear on the map. The cut-scene will reveal the location of the Master Sword.
