How to get Warp Key?

One of the main ways of getting a Warp Key is to get it as random loot.

Fortunately, some ships on the nebula map have in its description that a Warp Key Cache is onboard. The picture above shows an example - it is displayed in the upper right part of the screen, under the window with information about the types of opponents. If you board this ship, you are guaranteed to find at least 1 key.

Look for WARP room (example in the picture) and go there.

Open the cache to take the Warp Key. The summary screen will confirm that you got it.

What is the purpose of a Warp Key?

A Warp Key gives you ability to travel long distances. You can mark any place on the map and make a jump that will consume only 1 unit of food and fuel. The picture above shows an example. This can be any object on the map, even those you can't reach directly. Unfortunately, Warp Key does not allow you to move left to skipped locations.
