Car Mechanic Simulator 2018: Tutorial

Before you start your adventure with Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, you will have to complete the tutorial. The next section provides an overview of the first stage of the story mode.

The game starts with a short tutorial - a "sandbox": you can examine three cars, use a lot of devices and tools that are in the workshop and you can access the test track. Complete it with one of the cars if you want to start the proper game. When you look at each of the devices, you get a short note that informs you about its properties (more detailed information about the usage and property of devices can be found in the Workshop's equipment chapter). When you are on the track you can see three stages that must be completed (they are displayed in the upper left corner). Only the last stage - braking - can cause problems. You don't have to stop behind the green zone, you only have stop when you are on it, even if you are driving slowly.

Your workshop

After completing the test track you can proceed with the main gameplay. Your workshop is much smaller than the one before. First, you must download an order. Open the quick menu (RMB) and press the phone icon. This opens the menu with available orders. They are divided into the story and the optional orders that appear and disappear after some time. You should download optional orders frequently if they don't require you to use new parts or parts that are in good condition - it is possible that you have those parts in your warehouse because they are left from previous repairs.
