Devil May Cry 5: Balrog - how to switch between Blow and Kick mode?

Balrog is one of Dante's melee weapons in Devil May Cry 5. This weapon is very efficient but you need to stay close to an enemy. It also allows you to build up your combo meter fast. Blow Mode allows you to, e.g. hit enemies fast and strike them a few times mid-air. Kick Mode allows you, e.g. to kick enemies downwards when you are in the air.

Build your combo with Balrog to make the weapon enter ignition mode - this allows you to use new attacks and deal more damage.

Dante can switch between Blow and Kick Modes mid-combos. To do that, you have to lock on an enemy and then press backward and the attack button at the same time. This will allow you to switch between Modes.
