Devil May Cry 5: Mission 12 - Yamato walkthrough

The following section of our guide to Devil May Cry 5 contains a walkthrough of the mission Yamato.

The mission will immediately begin with the fight against demons - good opportunity to test a new weapon that is ideal to fight with a larger group of enemies. Go through the tunnels until you get to the courtyard with a large fountain. Jump to the platform above, and take the Nidhogg Hatchling.

Take the item back to the fountain - you can select which passage to open. This decision does not really matter, because you will visit both places during this mission. In our tutorial, we started from the growths, which lead the stone staircase.

Destroy the enemies that attack you, then turn to the corridor where you will find a fragment of the purple sphere. Go ahead and to the next room, and you'll see a cut-scene with a new enemy - Fury. The opponent is extremely fast, agile and very deadly. Dodge and counterattack and try to kill the enemy with the strongest attacks.

Continue until you get to the room with the behemoth and the rest of the creatures. Kill the demons and go on to destroy the clot of blood. You will make that blood flow to the bottom of the fountain, and the passage behind the clot will be open. Go through it and look to the right - jump to the platform above, to reach a blue fragment of the ball.

Go back down and run to the next corridor, where a few demons are waiting. Kill the enemies and destroy another blood clot. To the right of it, you will also find a Golden Ball. Go through the revealed corridor and take the Nidhogg Hatchling.

Take the item all the way down the fountain, and this time choose the other mouth and open that passage. Inside, there will be some fighting with enemies such as Queen Empus, berserkers, or Baphomet, but at this stage of the adventures, you should defeat them without problems. Destroy the last clot and go back to the fountain - jump into the exposed passage.

In the underground run ahead, take the stone steps and turn around. On the other side, you will find Secret Missions 09. When you are ready to go ahead, and after a short cutscene, you will fight with Urizen - the fight is described in a separate section of our solution.
