Devil May Cry 5: Mission 11 - Reason walkthrough

The following section of our guide to Devil May Cry 5, contains a walkthrough of the mission Reason.

Controlled Character: Dante

After the cut-scenes, you will take control of Dante - although the Rebellion Sword is not with you anymore, the blade you have now, The Devil Sword Sparda has the same attacks. Go ahead and defeat a group of enemies and get to the ruins of the building. There will be a blood clot - destroy it.

You will create a passage - keep running, destroying the red crystals along the way, and defeat a wave of enemies. After the fight, run towards the huge building. Before you go into the building, jump down and destroy the Red Crystal to get some red orbs.

Enter the building and destroy the red blood clot to make the building slump down a little. Jump to the top - to a hidden platform over the entrance door. At the top, you will find the Secret Mission 08.

Proceed down the building and jump down to the level below. At the bottom, you will find a few crystals and two clots with blood - destroy them. On the shelf, you will also find a blue piece of the ball, which you should take.

Now go back up and turn right. In the room, an item next to the globe marked as ??? is waiting to be picked up. There, you will find weapons, Kalina Ann - that's a powerful rocket launcher. You will hence unlock a new weapon for ranged combat.

Follow now to the top of the building and go to exposed passage. Along the way, you will meet some beasts and a new type of enemy - Hell Judetta. This demon is quite strong, has a sizable attack range and often teleports near you, to attack with tentacles.

A little bit further there's the next fight waiting on a round arena. There will be a lot of enemies, including proto Angelo and hellbats. After the fight, take the purple piece of the ball and go to the alleys below. Purchase new skills, or resupply and get ready to fight the next boss - Cavaliere Angelo. You can learn the appropriate strategy for this boss in a separate section of this guide.
