Doom Eternal: Supplies - how to quickly replenish?
Last update:
On this page of our guide to Doom Eternal we will tell you how to replenish your health, armor, ammunition, and fuel. This is a very important question, since all these types of items are necessary to keep the character alive and to ensure that your hero can still attack the hellish demons.
- Standard loot
- Health points - Glory Kills
- Armor points - Flame Belch
- Ammunition - Chainsaw
- Chainsaw fuel
Standard loot

The most obvious way to replenish main supplies is to find and collect a regular loot. Unfortunately, consumable items appear in the game world in limited quantities. This is especially noticeable during all major battles - it is very easy to collect all loot from a particular arena. So you can't just solely use this method.
Health points - Glory Kills

An additional way of obtaining health points is to perform Glory Kills, that is, final executions of highlighted and pulsating opponents. For a record, this highlighted flashing indicates that a specific enemy has been stunned after your overwhelming attacks. You must complete the execution before the stun effect stops working.
Armor points - Flame Belch

An additional method of obtaining armor points is to set enemies on fire by using the Flame Belch gadget, which is obtained in the initial phase of the campaign. The attacked demon will drop a bit of armor shards just after setting it on fire. You can get even more armor points if you can kill a burning enemy.
Ammunition - Chainsaw

An additional method of obtaining ammunition for firearms is to kill demons with a chainsaw, which you will find shortly after the game starts. The less ammunition you have at the moment, the more it will drop from the killed monster. Remember that chainsaw consumes fuel. In addition, the more monsters you plan to kill, the more fuel units will be consumed (for example, 3 instead of 1).
Chainsaw fuel

Unfortunately, there is no easy way of obtaining chainsaw fuel. You just need to search for canisters during the game. The only relief is that after using all the fuel, it can renew and regenerate to a minimum level (availability to launch one attack of chainsaw on weaker opponents). However, this does not happen instantly - you must wait patiently for the cooldown.
