The controversies surrounding Fallout 76 seem to have no end. According to recent reports, Bethesda Softworks has sent high-quality backpacks with the title logo to YouTube influencers. The information made the players angry, as an allegedly similar bag included in the Power Armor edition, turned out to be a much lower quality product, than what was previously announced.

The PC version of Fallout 76 can now be purchased on Humble Store 33% cheaper. Such a large discount just nine days after the release suggests that the sales might have been well below expectations. In fact, the game actually launched a few hours earlier than originally planned. Also, PC gamers using NVIDIA graphic cards can download Game Ready drivers for the title.

Fallout 76’s launch-day patch bigger than game itself

This year hasn't been gentle for the fans of the legendary Fallout series. First, there was the somewhat left-field announcement that the game will be multiplayer only. Things got only sketchier afterward: microtransactions, late mod support, and, behold, the recent beta, which was a true festival of bugs. Now it turns out that the devs want to make their game better at all cost (which is good) by releasing a launch-day patch bigger than the game itself (not so good).

Fallout 76 beta has a release date, and PC and PS4 owners will lag behind

Fallout 76 beta will launch on October 23, Bethesda announced earlier today. The pre–order-exclusive Break-It Early Test Application features a distinguishable intro every Fallout fan should recognize. It has been published as well. Players are encouraged to break it now, so that it becomes bugless on launch. But not everybody will “enjoy it” at the same time.

After days of speculation, here it comes – Fallout 76 is not making it to Steam. Bethesda says that in order to keep things organized, the game requires Bethesda.net, and not a third-party launcher. In other words, the much anticipated post-apocalyptic MMO-RPG won’t make it to the gaming’s most popular platform. Well, at least not at launch.

Fallout 76 BETA launches in October

Having been announced during this year’s E3, Fallout 76 closed BETA is coming for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this October. Above all, it should answer the question if Bethesda knows how to deliver a post-apocalyptic multiplayer survival, and if such a survival should be called a “Fallout” at all. But some will know the answer sooner than others.
