The idea for FAR: Changing Tides was relatively simple: we sit at the helm of a ship and travel through a civilization ravaged by floods. We have to take care of the ship, and the boy we play as sometimes has to dive in search of necessary materials. This also lets us expand our machine.
The protagonist's goal is to explore the dilapidated civilization, find answers to the questions that haunt him, and secure a better tomorrow. During the adventure, it's also neccesary to solve complex logical puzzles and avoid environmental threats.
The whole thing has a melancholic vibe, enhanced by the atmospheric and dynamic soundtrack, which changes along our activities and situations we encounter. In addition, there's a hand-painted graphic design, which intensifies the boy's longing for his lost home. As a result, the game captivates with atmosphere and puts you in a unique mood. If only for this reason, it's worth a try.
