Exciting Polish Video Games Announced for 2023

Until recently, Poland could boast mainly the next RPG from CDPR, and a few original, more or less independent productions. In 2023, in turn, there are more promising Polish games than there are expansions to The Sims 4.

Gatewalkers

Visually, the game is not a knockdown, but the coop fun should compensate for the aesthetic shortcomings (photo - Gatewalkers, A2 Softworks, 2023).

We are introduced to a story about heroes who can teleport thanks to Gates - mysterious constructions that allow traveling to remote worlds. Each of these worlds differ in atmosphere and a few procedurally generated factors. Nevertheless, they all fall in fantasy category.

Although this production does not try to pretend that its strongest point will be the visual aspect, it is supposed to work great as a co-op title . Players will have to face not only various types of opponents, but also the characteristics of the region, weather conditions and terrain.

Thanks to this, tactics often take the lead here - some clashes simply cannot be won by brute force. At least that's what the creators promise. The combination of a hack'n'slash and a game where you have to think a lot may seem risky , but if everything works out, we have a chance to get a title next year to play with friends for many years to come.
