Rockstar knows how to properly treat a hen that lays golden eggs. Since Grand Theft Auto 5 is enjoying unwavering popularity, mainly due to GTA Online, it would be unwise not to earn money from the same game again. And since we have next-gen consoles, you can't ahve them without a revamped GTA 5, right?
At least GTA 6 is in the making!
Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS5 and XSX is actually the same game, but in a visually modernized version. The new consoles will receive better textures, ray tracing, higher resolution, 60 frames per second. As for GTA Online, the matter is different – there will be a separate, stand-alone version for next-gen Sony and Microsoft devices, which will offer several improvements compared to the original.
