The two biggest premieres of the month are definitely The Last of Us 2 and Valorant. In June, we will also play new Desperaros, returning after many years, a remasters of Command and Conquer series and a handful of interesting independent games.

What is Valorant?
A free online shooter developed by Riot Games – an industry giant specialized in e-sports, who honed their skills on the whopping success of League of Legends. The production will focus on the proper use of the characters' unique skills and tactics. An important feature of the game is its accessibility, manifested in low requirements, slick, cartoon graphics, and extensive network infrastructure designed to minimize the discomfort of playing with poor internet connection.
What's the gameplay like in Valorant?
Before each game, the player selects a set of unique special abilities for the match – their proper use will be crucial to the course of the match. Duels will be fought between two teams of five, and in addition to special skills, good reflexes and knowledge of the map will also be vital. As in Counter Strike, we will earn cash for winning, letting us acquire better weapons.
What game modes will we find in Valorant?
The only single-player modes in the game will be tutorials. The mainstay of the game will be matches fought up to 13 wins in quick rounds. In each round, teams take the roles of attackers and defenders. The former must plant a bomb (called Spike) at one of the designated points, or eliminate the entire enemy team. The job of the defenders is obviously to prevent the bomb from exploding.

OUR EXPECTATIONS
On gameplays, Valorant appeared as an indefinite clone of Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch and... Team Fortress 2. What I can't seem to get over with Riot Games' new production, however, is not so much by the similarities to the above games, but rather what went down with the closed beta. In order to play the game before the release, you had to meet a set of requirements: link the Twitch account to Riot Games and watch at least 2 hours of any streams of the game on that platform. I looked down on Valorant, but after watching more than 30 hours of streams (in some cases, getting access to the beta didn't take that long) I finally got the chance to experience the game on my own and... my opinion turned 180 degrees! It's the best game I've played in a very, very long time – and I'm not just saying about online shooters, but video games in general! It's been a long time since any production has riveted me in a way that makes me think about it even when the computer is off. I'm already biting my knuckles with anticipation, looking forward to the official launch, and the novelties that will surely come with version 1.0. Valorant doesn't outclass CS – it slams it right into the ground.
