Might & Magic: Heroes 6
Might & Magic: Heroes 6 wasn't a bad game. However, if someone expected another parth three, they would be sorely disappointed. The sixth installment turned out to be revolutionary for the series. You can safely call it controversial, but is it wrong? Judge for yourself. Nevertheless, the problems with this production resulted not only from the modification of the proven formula.
The existence of this game was revealed by Ubisoft in 2009, and the original part six was the responsibility of the Hungarian studio Black Hole, the creators of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos. Due to subsequent technical problems, the premiere of the game was delayed several times. Originally, the title was supposed to be released on June 6, 2011 (and the first information even points to March of the same year). The date was later changed to September 8, and Might & Magic: Heroes VI finally arrived on October 13. Right for the 25th anniversary of the series.
In April 2012, Ubisoft announced that Black Hole would no longer be working on Might & Magic: Heroes 6. From update 1.3, the game was to be handed over to Limbic Entertainment team, which previously only helped with production. What happened to Black Hole? It went bankrupt. One of the employees said directly that the company was blaming Ubisoft for the whole situation – the studio was supposed to lose millions of euros due to problems with the publisher. Why? It had to pay penalties for failure to meet deadlines.
