Seven GTA Clones So Bad They Should Be Illegal
We know how well GTA sells. No wonder many studios want to create their own hit in the same style. Unfortunately, most of them die trying.

"One of the best real gangster crime simulator" – This is how Real Gangster Auto Theft is advertised in the Google Play Store. Nice promotional graphics (with absolutely nothing in common with actual graphics), free distribution, and a title that suggests probably the cheekiest, most audacious ripoff on this list. So what are the chances that the game will actually be good? You guessed it – practically none.
It's even difficult to explain everything that went wrong with Real Gangster Auto Theft. I could just copy a few sentences from the previous entry – monotonous missions, empty world, weak shooting and driving systems. Add to that a very linear storyline, presented as subsequent levels available in the menu, and poor graphics – even for mobile devices' standards. It's completely not worth it, and still, more than a million players got it. The audacity paid off, it seems.
