What is Assassin's Creed: Valhalla about?

Eivor, the protagonist of this installment, is the heroine (or hero) of the Viking clan. An interesting thing here is that you can switch between male and female protagonist even during the game. The game is set in 9th-century Europe. After leaving conflict-ridden Norway, we have to pass the North Sea and reach the shores of England, which, unfortunately, are also not very peaceful. In fact, we land in the very center of war, and as Vikings we become targeted by the self-proclaimed ruler of England for having the audacity to want to live in his hood. Eivor and their warriors are forced into a fight, which will determine whether England will become their new home, or whether they will face another exile. The alliances or contacts established along the way will have a decisive impact on the fate of the hero.

Why is it worth playing?

The twelfth Assassin's Creed, a series famous primarily for being a robust sandbox, sets new trends that can be considered standard for Ubisoft's upcoming games. Originally launched by an action game, the series became more and more similar to a typical RPG, and now the transition finally seems complete. The size of the world and the number of activities are mind-boggling. In addition, the best solutions from previous games were used here as well, and similarly to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag or Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, we sail a ship to navigate the world. But this is only a fraction of the mechanics and possibilities that Valhalla offers.

She's been playing since she was little; she usually chooses JRPGs or indie games, although she also has a huge weakness for 3D platformers. Feels most comfortable when writing, so she considers the combination of creating texts with a passion for games a natural sequence of events. Privately, she collects Tamagotchi and takes care of her small, cat family. She happily shares her favorite games, cat photos, and other various things on Instagram.
