Uncharted 5, GTA 6 and Other Games We Want to Play on PS5

PlayStation 5 will be released in 2020, but we want to have a flight of fancy about the titles we'd like to play on the upcoming console. Here's our list of potential hits for Sony's machine.

Table of Contents

Cyberpunk 2077

Chances of a PS5 release: large

Ability to appear on other platforms: already certain

Yes, Cyberpunk 2077 will appear on PS4 in April (or will it...?), but the game won't be able to realize its full potential on current-gen consoles. We'd be thrilled to be able to see CP77 on PS5 in an improved version – with lots of detail, fast loading, and a huge render distance.

It's hard to believe that a mere few months ago, we knew next to nothing about Cyberpunk 2077 and had to settle for unofficial reports or rumors. Now the situation looks completely different – the creators of The Witcher 3 since some time regularly release new materials, organize presentations for the press and give more details in interviews.

The game takes us to the title year 2077, to the Night City, which explore in FPP. The presented world will be ruled by ruthless megacorporations, violent gangs, and the only people enjoying something resembling freedom will be the cyberpunks.

Our main character, V, will be a novice mercenary, building their reputation from scratch. We'll explore a large, open world, on foot and using vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, and the experience points earned during main and side quests will be spent on new skills. The available skills will depend on the latter – most tasks will be characterized by a great freedom of choice in how we want to approach them.

We'd also like to play: Bully 2

GTA 6 is inevitable, but we dream of Rockstar returning to the well-known universe of students from Bullworth Academy. Bully has successfully transplanted the Grand Theft Auto mechanics into a world of homeworks, terrorized nerds, and school romances. Although the game did not achieve as much financial success as the gangster and Western series of this developer, it was also not a failure, and showed the potential for a sequel.

In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
