A farewell with a bang, or just another adventure?

Mysteria Ecclesiae is probably the final meeting with Henry and the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance on the computer screen. So, will it be the best expansion in the franchise's history? A farewell with a real "bang" that will stay in our memory? Not exactly...

I think all the DLCs are very special in their own right. Even the first one, the smallest and most modest, but we communicated earlier that it would be small. We were developing it simultaneously with the main game, so we had to divide our efforts a bit. And, it is less expensive than the others. All the DLCs bring something new to the game. The first one was a really personal story about a painter and the art of decorating shields, then it turned into a fun, comedic adventure with a blacksmith, and now it's a much more serious, dark tale full of puzzles.

I also asked about something that had been bothering me since the first game tests in June 2024. Why are all the churches in KCD2 closed? You can't enter them, although it was possible in the first installment. Turns out, the explanation was pretty straightforward.

We ran out of time! Of course, we wanted to add them, especially since they were there before, but we simply couldn't do it. Since there weren't any quests happening there, it wasn't too annoying – in the first game, a few quests did require you to visit the church. In the DLC, we visit a big abbey, where we are finally able to recreate the former appearance of the monastery calmly.
