The action of Final Fantasy VII Remake is set in Gaia - a world combining elements of science-fiction and fantasy. The life energy of this planet is exploited by the Shinra corporation. This process may destroy the planet completely. We assume the role of Cloud Strife - a former soldier and mercenary who joins the Avalanche resistance group which is fighting against the corporation.

The remade version of Final Fantasy VII is delivered in episodes - the first of them focuses on the city of Midgar, which is the main headquarters of the Shinra Corporation. Such an approach shortens the production and publishing cycle, but buying additional installments of this game will be necessary in order to complete the entire story.
