Elements

Every Element in FF7 Remake works differently depending on the enemy type. Some of them can be resistant to, for example, fire, and some will be vulnerable to this kind of damage - use it to your advantage to deal massive damage to the opponents.

In Final Fantasy VII Remake, there are 4 Elements:

1. Fire;
2. Ice;
3. Lightning;
4. Wind.

Beneficial Status Effects

Some spells and items that you will use during the game can cause positive effects (Beneficial Status Effects), which makes it easier to fight more difficult opponents.

In Final Fantasy VII Remake, there are the following Beneficial Status Effects:

1. Regen - gradually restores HP;
2. Barrier - reduces the physical damage received;
3. Manaward - reduces magic damage received;
4. Shield - negates physical damage;
5. Reflect - reflects magic spells;
6. Haste - accelerates ATB bar;
7. Resist - prevents Status Ailments;
8. Auto-Life - revives an incapacitated companion once during the battle.
