Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Is the Remake faithful to the 1997 original?

Final Fantasy VII Remake is an updated version of the iconic production from 1997, released on PS1 (PSX). There were, however, some changes to the gameplay.

The biggest change you will notice when playing the remake version are the new combat mechanics. The combat in Final Fantasy VII Remake is more dynamic, therefore it can be associated with the action RPG genre. The majority of the fights will take place in real time. Active Time Battle bar adds tactical elements to the game - we use abilities by depleting the bar.

The plot is almost the same as in the original meaning that the main elements of the story will remain unchanged. Additionally, the remake is divided into smaller parts. It is also known that , Cloud, you will play as other iconic companions, like Tifa and Barrett. However, the FF7 Remake will also feature new characters and bosses expanding the story.
