The second attempt at refreshing 1996 title Exile III: Ruined World (after 2002 Avernum 3). Avernum 3: Ruined World takes the player to a fantasy world which is currently at the brink of a disaster. The player controls a group of daredevils that manage to escape the underground prison after a long fight against the forces of an evil Empire. Having reached the surface, the characters discover that their world has been invaded by monsters.

Pokemon Silver is set in a fictional world inhabited by the titular creatures. The player takes on the role of a beginner Pokemon trainer.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode is a collection of three Japanese RPGs initially released on PlayStation 2 between 2006-2007: hack//G.U. vol. 1//Rebirth, .hack//G.U. Vol.2//Reminisce, and .hack//G.U. Vol.3//Redemption. All three have been developed by CyberConnect2, also responsible for working on the remastered editions. These MMORPGs allow the player to visit a virtual world, in which they has to complete consecutive tasks and fight enemies in real time with a team of over a dozen warriors.
