Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Call of Duty: WWII - United Front

An expansion to the 2017 entry in the popular FPS series Call of Duty. The add-on introduces three new maps (Market Garden, Stalingrad, and Monte Cassino) for online PvP matches, each set on a famous battlefield of World War II. United Front also offers a mission for the War mode and another adventure for cooperative zombie mode.

Aggelos

During the game, we assume the role of Aggelos – the hero traveling through the fantastic world of Lumen and fighting invaders from another dimension. Thanks to the pixel-art visuals and a catchy, chiptune soundtrack, the game strongly resembles 16-bit classics.
Haimrik

An original mix of an adventure game and a platformer, developed by the independent studio Below the Game. The action is set in a fantasy world in which you play as the titular hero – a young scribe Haimrik. You mission is to face an evil king and his Word Warriors. The protagonist, however, is not helpless and alone – accompanied by Masamba, a constantly-hungry lioness, he commands the Power of the Words, his basic weapon. Gameplay consists of exploring locations and jumping on platforms.

VRobot was prepared with virtual reality technology in mind. Studio Luden.io is responsible for the development of the game, and the role of publisher was taken on by Nival company.

A first-person shooter in which players are taken to a front of the World War II, right in the middle of the fight between USSR and Third Reich. Fog of War focuses on multiplayer matches, with players being able to choose from specialized characters. Choosing a class determines weapons, battle skills and vehicles available on the battlefield.

The player observes the action from the top-down perspective.

An oldschool shooter game by Italo Games, utilizing a top-down perspective. Milanoir is set in Milan during the 1970s. The protagonist is Sacchi Piero, who was framed for murder and sentenced to a life in prison. However, he manages to leave the prison in unclear circumstances and from now on his goal is to find the person responsible for his incarceration. During the game, you explore Milan and eliminate enemies, using a wide range of firearms and such weapons as Molotov cocktails or grenades.
