The story takes players to a fantasy world of Spira. The protagonist is Tidus, a sportsman whose home town gets attacked by a powerful creature known as Sin.

The DLC introduces new storylines connected to a mysterious island located off the coast of the Gallows End continent. On the island, the player character faces dark magic and new, powerful enemies. Once the player completes the main storyline, they are allowed to explore the new areas freely and complete an entire set of side quests given by NPCs.

The players take on the roles of teenagers, the titular Soul Workers who stand up to the enemy from hell. They have to discover the causes behind Cloudrealm's collapse and reverse the effects of the catastrophe.

A DLC for a well-received production by Failbetter Games that combines elements of strategy, adventure, and roguelike RPG. Sunless Sea: Zubmariner is focused on an entirely new story that takes place in the steampunk universe known from the vanilla game but introduces some changes in the gameplay mechanics. The players’ task is once again to explore the seas, only this time they descend into the depths, assuming control of a steam submarine.

The players assume the role of a hero, who is tasked with finding a way to imprison the Titans, who've managed to escape after years of imprisonment, and are now causing mayhem and destruction on Earth.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia takes place in a fantasy world divided between two opposing factions. The game focuses on two childhood friends who, as adults, are fighting for the opposing sides. Their stories intertwine, allowing us to see what happens on both sides of the conflict.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is the eighth installment of the fantasy action RPG series from Nihon Falcom. The game takes place in the same Greek mythology-inspired fantasy world as the series' previous installments. Once again we play as the warrior called Adol Christin who, after the ship he was traveling went under, ends up with the rest of the crew on the cursed island Seiren. Our hero's dreams about the mysterious girl named Dana turn out to be the key to solving the mystery of the island.
