The action of Root Letter takes place in present-day Japan, with players taking control of a thirty-something man who discovers long forgotten letters that he had exchanged fifteen years ago with a penfriend named Aya Fumino. Her last letter contains a murder confession, and states that she has to atone for her sin. After that, she suddenly broke off all contact.

The action of Through the Woods takes place in modern times in a dark forest somewhere on the western shore of Norway. While playing, we assume the role of a desperate woman named Karen who tries to find her lost son. She is constantly interrupted by various evil creatures inspired by Nordic mythology and Scandinavian folklore.

The plot of Agent Walker: Secret Journey focuses around a mythical artifact called The Spear of Destiny, which according to certain beliefs has the power to change the course of the war.

A game developed by an indie studio, ThroughLine Games, that combines elements of point-and-click and platform games. In Forgotten Anne the players step into a fantasy world of Forgotten Lands, inhabited by creatures that were created out of abandoned everyday objects. When a rebellion rises, our main heroine, who works as an enforcer, needs to stop the riots and bring back the balance and peace. Her master, Bonku, aids the girl in this quest. The action is presented from a side perspective.

A completely free, standalone expansion for Stasis – a dark science-fiction adventure game released in 2015. The plot of Cayne references the base game in a number of ways, but without spoiling it, so players new to the series can also experience the title in full. Story introduces a pregnant woman named Hadle, who wakes up in an obscure medical facility, where unknown men want to take her baby away. As can easily be imagined, the player’s objective is to make sure that this doesn’t happen.

Players don’t control the painter himself, but his daughter – she learns that after the death of her father, the house now belongs to her.

The game is a sort of poetic visual story with such themes as childhood, memories, and hope. Interestingly, this is a work of basically one man, who only used the help of his closest family. Home is Where One Starts… tells a story of a teenage girl who leaves her home for school early in the morning, but misses her bus.

You meet her at the porch of a country house.

While playing, we assume the role of an astronaut who is a member of an organization that explores uncharted regions of space. She is imprisoned in her family’s castle by the Evil Wizard, who cast a powerful spell on it, turning the whole castle into a deadly trap.

In Siberia, you play as a young lawyer named Kate Walker, who was hired by a toymaking company to finalize formalities regarding a takeover of a factory in a small European town.

The gameplay emphasizes traveling, solving logical puzzles and avoiding traps. Puzzles revolve around colors, shapes and sounds, meaning that the game requires almost ceaseless concentration from player.

The story is shown mostly via text with occasional pictures.
