Another installment in a series of SEGA's jRPGs that emphasize both tactical and strategic aspects; the franchise has its origins in 2009, on the Nintendo DS handhelds. The plot combines threads from the previous iterations, and is set in three different epochs. Thus the player is taken 10 thousand years back and visits the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Then the game fasts-forward to 2100, and the action now takes place in Tokyo.
Age of Decadence

A turn-based RPG that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world full of magic, inspired by the decline of the Roman Empire. The action of Age of Decadence is set after the fall of a powerful Empire which, attacked by the brutal race of Q’antaari, experienced a long war, with immortal gods of good and chaos involved. In the game, we assume the role of a hero who finds an ancient map that is the key to learning the secrets of the past.
The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone

The first large expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, developed by the creators of the original game, Polish studio CD Projekt RED. The add-on is set in No Man’s Land and the city of Oxenfurt, where Geralt the witcher gets entangled in a shadowy intrigue and encounters a mysterious Man of Glass. Hearts of Stone is more than a new subplot and missions, which provide for a dozen extra hours of gameplay - the players can also gain new useful items and meet interesting characters.

Wave of Darkness

A representative of the hack ’n’ slash genre, created by Dreamatrix Game Studios. The title is a follow-up to the 2013 Legends of Dawn. The players once again find themselves in Narr – a land inspired by Slavonic mythology. The plot of the game, which is not directly connected to its predecessor, focuses on a mysterious danger approaching from the dark swamps – the place has been releasing terrifying creatures, up to this point known only from myths and legends.
Nights of Azure

An action RPG set in unique fantasy world, developed by Japanese studio Gust, know from the Atelier and Ar tonelico series. Nights of Azure takes us to an isolated island kingdom, in which people must face demonic creatures that roam at night. The main heroine, Arnice, is a warrior gifted with dark powers. Her duty is to protect priestess Lilysee who – according to legends – can lift the curse that was cast on the land by sacrificing herself.

A mobile installment of one of the most popular Japanese RPG series, developed and released in Japan by Square Enix. Plot-wise, Final Fantasy Grandmasters is a spin-off installment of the series. The action takes place in the land of Vana’diel known from Final Fantasy XI, the first MMO game in the history of the franchise. The story of Final Fantasy Grandmasters can be experienced solo or in the company of other players that can be talked to via the built-in instant messenger.

An RPG title by Locojoy studio. We play as a castaway who lands on a small island infested with zombies, with a small town in its center. Our objective is to survive in the harsh conditions and find a way to escape, meaning that survival aspect plays a main role in the game. We are threatened not only by undead, but also more mundane nuisances, like hunger and diseases. Gameplay focuses on looking for food, medicines, and useful items.

Eternity Warriors 4 begins with choosing a class – we can choose between a Warrior, Assassin, Crusader, or Mage. Each class has its own combat abilities, and a signature weapon that it utilizes on the battlefield.

A hack’n’slash RPG, developed for mobile devices by Four Thirty Three studio. The player enters a fantasy world, choosing between a Warrior, Mage, or Assassin as his class of choice. The individual classes use different weapons, and each of them has their own set of battle abilities, which is constantly expanded during the gameplay. Blade: Sword of Elysion is based on exploration of vast environments and fights with encountered enemies.

Sixth entry in spin-off series of the Pokemon franchise, developed by Japanese studio Spike Chunsoft. Players assume the role of youngster who has been changed into a titular pocket monster and brought to the world inhabited by those creatures. Protagonist must explore the land and lift a mysterious curse that changes living beings to stone.
Skyshine's BEDLAM

A classic turn-based RPG in a postapocalyptic setting, and with a strong dash of roguelike elements. Skyshine Games, whose staff worked on the Darksiders series among others, took the reins of the production. The game is set in the distant future, on Earth - a planet destroyed as a result of scientific experiments gone wrong. The surviving life focuses around two metropolitan areas: Byzantium - a decaying city, and the utopian Aztec City.

It was developed by Gameloft and takes us once more to the fantasy land of Haradon, which was destroyed by a cataclysm caused by the destruction of an ancient artifact called the Primal Heart. Six hundred years have passed since this dramatic event, and the civilizations have managed to partially recover; the players assume the role of heroes who start to gradually come to the land.
Undertale

An old-school RPG from the independent developer Toby Fox, referencing the Earthbound series. Undertale's story takes place in a world that was witness to a lengthy, cruel war between humans and monsters after a long period of coexistence between both races. It ended with humans driving the monsters underground.
Star Wars: Uprising

An action role-playing game for mobile devices by Kabam, set in the Star Wars universe. The story takes place after the evens of The Return of the Jedi. Following Senator Palpatine's death, many ambitious leaders try to salvage what remains of the Empire and strengthen it. The player has to thwart those plans. The gameplay of Star Wars: Uprising consists mostly of battling the Empire forces, with the combat system resembling hack-and-slash games.

An original online role-playing game based on a series of novels under the same title written by Tad Williams, derived from the idea that there are many virtual worlds accessible through modern computers. We start the game by teleporting to one of the several available universes, varying in style and governed by different laws. Depending on our preferences, we can travel to a slightly magical variation of Middle Ages or to the distant future, where we fight using futuristic firearms.
Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser

Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X is a prequel to the Kingdom Hearts series, so it may be interesting not only for new players, but also for the fans. In comparison to the previous installments, this version is reduced.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Imperial City

We are taken to the eponymous capital of the Cyrodiil province, which is under siege from the forces of the daedric prince Molag Bal. Players are given the task of dealing with the invaders and bringing back the order. Expansion brings new location, divided into six smaller districts filled with new NPCs and enemies, as well as a vast number of tasks both for PvE and PvP model.

We are taken to a completely new land and play as a member of a team hunting powerful foes and discovering the secrets of the game’s world. Our character (and the whole team) can be created with a provided character creator. If there are no players willing to cooperate with us, we can play by ourselves, with our pawns controlled by AI.

The Walking Dead: Road to survival allows you to lead a group of survivors, (which the fans of this universe should be familiar with) who find shelter in the town of Woodbury. It turns out that the leader of this almost idyllic place is the psychopathic Governor, whom you need to fight.
