An FPP action-adventure game featuring sci-fi elements and focusing on exploration. It was developed by Blue Isle Games - a Canadian team popular for Slender: The Arrival. The player is taken to the titular valley, which is a mysterious place located somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. Assuming the role of an unspecified character, the player traverses a set of diversified locations, trying to discover the secrets hidden in the area. The protagonist makes use of the L.E.A.F.
Lifeline: Whiteout

Another installment in a series of mobile adventure titles developed by 3 Minute Games. The plot is centered around a man called V. Adams, who wakes up in a distant corner of the Earth one day, right in the middle of a raging snow storm. Without remembering how he got there, he realizes he has no chances of survival just on his own. However, a special text message system allowing him to contact the player becomes helpful in his attempt to make his way out of that dangerous place.

A light-hearted adventure game, inspired by Monty Python’s surreal sense if humour, and the weirdest cases from the X-Files TV series. Maize was developed by Finish Line Games – an independent studio, which debuted in 2014 with Cel Damage HD. The action of the game takes place on an abandoned American farm, which is located above an underground research facility. The player assumes the role of a corncob that gained self-conciousness and human feelings as a result of a crazy experiment.
Fated: The Silent Oath

An episodic action adventure game by Frima, set in the mythical world of the Vikings. The title was designed with VR headsets in mind. Fated: The Silent Oath was developed by a former writer for the Assassin’s Creed series and focuses on a certain family that faces Ragnarok, which is the Nordic counterpart of the end of days. We assume the role of the father who tries to protect his loved ones from the wrath of gods. The action is shown from the first-person perspective.
The Works of Mercy

A first-person perspective adventure game exploiting the psychological thriller genre. The plot in The Works of Mercy draws inspiration from such films as The Tenant by Roman Polanski and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. The title was developed by Polish studio Pentacle, whose team members have worked on titles such as The Witcher or Call of Juarez. The player is in control of a man whose family got kidnapped by a psychopath.

Husk is produced by Polish studio UndeadScout, supported by IMGN.PRO – the creators of the successful horror Kholat. The title takes you to a mysterious town of Shivercliff, the destination of the game's main hero – Matthew Palmer. After a train wreck, he tries to find his family, which requires delving into the town’s dark secrets.

The game was inspired by American TV series such as The X-Files or The Twilight Zone, as well the British series Black Mirror and video games like The Stanley Parable or P.T. (the playable teaser of the ultimately cancelled Silent Hills).

In the game, we assume the role of the eponymous adventurer and treasure hunter who happened to find notes pointing to a supposed location of the biblical Garden of Eden in an old Templar church.

Fran Bow is the debut project of the two-people studio Killmonday Games and was funded thanks to a crowdfunding campaign at Indiegogo. In the game, we assume the role of the eponymous Fran who witnesses the brutal murder of her own parents.

A science fiction adventure game developed by Kyodai. The developers were inspired by the works of Arthur C. Clarke, Frank Herbert, and Stanislaw Lem. The player assumes the role of Catherine Jones; the heroine is on a space journey aboard the Pilgrimage II ship when she unexpectedly loses consciousness. Having awakened, she discovers that the vessels is abandoned, while Kazumi, the on-board artificial intelligence, is damaged and trying to take complete control of the ship.

A three-dimensional adventure game in the form of a courtroom drama, inspired by the popular Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series. It was created by The Moonwalls studio's sole member - a lawyer and a game enthusiast who developed the game almost entirely on his own. The story is set in a steampunk alternative vision of the 19th century Paris. The protagonist faces the court, being accused of a brutal murder of a young woman. The player's task is to convince the court of his innocence.

Our task is to “take care” of them properly — kill them, that is. We have to tend separately to each of the five unfortunate guests, shortening their life by various means, for example poisoning.

The player ends up on a mysterious island with the ultimate goal of discovering the truth about its past and discovering its secrets. The above mentioned goals translate into a gameplay whose pillars are exploration of a vast world and solving more or less complex puzzles. The whole was maintained in a characteristic, surrealist style, inspired by the work of Julius Verne.

During the game, we often solve puzzles and conduct conversations with neutral characters in order to shed new light on the case. When it comes to visuals, we are dealing with hand-drawn 2D graphics.
