Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. During gameplay, you need to gather resources necessary for putting up buildings.

Players can play 15 scenarios per each side of the conflict.

The player controls a small group of people exiled from their home country, who are trying to settle down in a new place and create the foundations of a powerful kingdom. The task calls, first and foremost, for ensuring the survival of a small society, and then managing its development.

The second installment belonging to an incredibly popular series of real-time strategy games. Age of Empires II: The Age of the Kings was developed by Ensemble Studios. The player assumes command of a civilization chosen (13 in total here) and leads them through subsequent stages of development. For example, one can play as Franks, Mongols, Celts or Vikings.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II

A sequel to the popular real-time strategy game by Relic Entertainment, set in the cult Warhammer 40,000 universe, where over a dozen feuding factions fight a bloody war. In the story campaign, we can assume control of the armies of four sides of the conflict: humans (Space Marines), Orks, the Eldar, and the Tyranids. Contrary to its predecessor, in Dawn of War II we have a much larger freedom in terms of playing and can determine the order of conquest.

Empires of the Undergrowth

Developed by Slug Disco Studios, the game is an unusual real-time strategy, which places the player in control of an anthill. The experience is accompanied by a commentary resembling narration in a documentary film. This element of the game teaches the player a lot of interesting facts concerning the functioning of an anthill.

Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai

A standalone expansion for Total War: SHOGUN 2 strategy game and a part of the Total War series by Creative Assembly. The add-on offers a new campaign set in the Empire of Japan in times of the civil war between the Emperor’s supporters and the last shogunate. The player can side with either faction, each of which is represented by six families. At the same time, it is a conflict between the traditional Japanese samurai culture and the modern firearms-based army.
Men of War: Vietnam

The third standalone expansion for Men of War, a real-time strategy game. Similarly to the vanilla game and its two previous add-ons, it was developed by Best Way. This time around, the players can take part in the Vietnam War, fought in years 1955-1975 by US-backed South Vietnam and North Vietnam, supported in turn by the Communist Bloc. Both sides of the conflict have their separate story campaigns.
