Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

A first-person shooter based on the engine of the bestselling game Unreal. The title was developed by Digital Extremes and focuses on online battles between players on futuristic arenas. In Unreal Tournament the players can compete in several gameplay modes – deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, domination, last man standing, and assault. Each mode is different from the remaining ones. There aren’t many weapons available, but each one can be used in two ways.

But it's all an effect of deliberate mystification, thanks to which our protagonist tries to infiltrate the ranks of a dangerous terrorist network and work it out from the inside.
Homefront

A first-person shooter developed by KAOS Studios (Frontlines: Fuel of War). The scenario was written by John Milius, the screenwriter for Apocalypse Now. Homefront presents a vision of a near future where, after an economical crisis, the United States were suddenly attacked and eventually occupied by North Korea. The player assumes the role of a member of resistance and together with two companions he completes various missions aimed at the occupant.
Battlefield Vietnam

A sequel to the 2002 online multiplayer FPS game developed by DICE. As its title suggests, Battlefield Vietnam takes place during the Vietnam War, allowing you to play as a member of the U.S. Army or a Vietnamese soldier, and participate in the series of battles spanning from 1964 to 1975. The mechanics of the game are virtually the same as its predecessor's, being a combination of strategy with FPS elements.
Sky Force Reloaded

An oldschool shooter inspired by arcade classics. Sky Force Reloaded was produced by Polish studio Infinite Dreams, the creators of the two previous installments in the series: Sky Force from 2004 and Sky Force from 2014. In the game the player controls a fighter jet which automatically flies in one direction (towards the top of the screen). Player is tasked with shooting down incoming enemy units and avoiding being hit or crashing into obstacles.

An open-world action adventure game with an extensive crafting system. Necesse is set in a procedurally-generated fantasy land. It's up to us how we'll live in it. The game supports singleplayer and multiplayer.
Half-Life: Alyx

Another part of the Half-Life shooter series. This time we are dealing with a title dedicated to the VR sets, in which we control Alyx Vance, heroine known from the Half-Life 2. The production was developed by Valve Software.

Call of Duty: Warzone is a free first person shooter set in the universe known from Modern Warfare. The title offers a huge map and two gameplay modes - the classic Battle Royale and Plunder, where the goal is to earn money.

The action of Saints Row 2 takes place several years after the events of the original, when its protagonist, wishing to take revenge on the traitors that made him lose his current influence, finds himself in serious trouble. Mechanics-wise, Saints Row 2 does not introduce too many novelties and bases on the tried solutions of the original.
