Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

FPP survival game, developed by youtuber known as Dani. In Muck we find ourselves on a procedurally generated island and while during the day we explore this piece of land in search of resources and supplies, at night we fight for survival, repelling attacks of enemies.
RoboCop: Rogue City

A first-person shooter developed by the Polish studio Teyon, known for Terminator: Resistance. RoboCop: Rogue City stars the titular cyborg, fighting crime on the streets of Detroit.
Starbound

An exploration game that eludes standard genre classification, developed by independent studio Chucklefish. Starbound combines elements of a 2D sandbox platformer and a strategy game. As you play, you explore and colonize other planets, provide for their inhabitants, construct useful items and vehicles, as well as fight hostile aliens. The game is set in a procedurally generated world,providing a great amount of freedom to the players.
Garry’s Mod

A commercial version of one of the most popular Source engine based mods, created in 2004 by Garry Newman. It lacks any sort of plotline or clearly defined objectives and is a pure sandbox game, employing the unique features of Source and laws of physics, simulated by Havok company’s software. Thanks to that we can single-handedly create any kind of map we want and play on them by ourselves or with other players in unique game modes.
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault

A continuation to the 2002's best-selling first-person shooter Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, released by Electronic Arts company. Action of the installment, developed this time by the EA's internal studio, focuses on the US-Japan conflict during the World War II in the Pacific region.
Half-Life 2: Episode One

The first expansion to Half-Life 2. Its action takes place directly after the events shown in the predecessor and expands the storyline with new plots. Once more the player becomes the main protagonist of the series: Gordon Freeman, accompanied, once again, by Alyx Vance. The two characters are tasked with escaping from an alien citadel – the place where the basic version of the game ended.
Aliens: Colonial Marines

Aliens: Colonial Marines is a first-person shooter based on the Alien franchise and developed by Gearbox Software. The game's story focuses on finding Ellen Ripley. Our protagonist, Christopher Winter, Colonial Marines corporal, is a member of the rescue mission that, as a result of a disaster, lands on the xenomorph-infected planet LV-426. The eleven-mission campaign can be played alone or in co-op with other players.

A spin-off of the episodic horror game Poppy Playtime. Project: Playtime is an asymmetrical multiplayer game in which six players are tasked with finding toy parts while avoiding a stalker controlled by a seventh player.

Bayonetta

The main protagonist, Bayonetta, is a sexy witch who, 20 years prior to the events depicted in the game, woke up in a chest at the bottom of a lake. She has no memories of how she got there or what happened before. Forced to fight against forces of Heaven that constantly attack her, the protagonist gradually learns new facts about her past.
Left 4 Dead

Left 4 Dead takes place in the apocalyptic United States, ravaged by a deadly virus, which got out of scientists' control and changes humans into bloodthirsty monsters. You play as one of the few survivors immune to the virus, and your task is to get out of a series of locations overrun by the mutants.
inFamous

Third-person action game set in a typical modern metropolis, in which we take control over the hero endowed with supernatural powers. The title was developed by Sucker Punch, an American studio known for their Sly action adventure series released on PlayStation 2. The action of the game takes place in an open world and apart from the main storyline it introduces sandbox elements, consisting of a number of optional side missions.
BioShock Remastered

A remastered edition of a popular FPS with RPG elements, originally released in 2007 on PC and Xbox 360; the PlayStation 3 version came out a year later. In case of the PC version, BioShock Remastered is available as a stand-alone product, but the game is part of BioShock: The Collection as well. The largest change introduced since the original release lies in the improved visuals, now supporting 4K resolution and using updated textures.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Tactical third-person shooter (TPS) that came out as a spin-off to the XCOM strategy series. The game was developed by 2K Marin, best known for making BioShock 2. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is set in 1960s, showing the early stages of the war between XCOM and aliens who invaded the Earth. The main hero – agent William Carter – gets sent to places where aliens have been spotted in order to wipe out the invaders.
