The objective of the game is to develop an internet friendship with a student named Emily. The gameplay consists of typing commands and selecting dialogue sequences using interface that looks like classic communicators such as AOL Instant Messenger.

In Yomawari: Night Alone you play as a little girl, who embarks on a search for her missing sister and dog, on her own, after dark. It quickly turns out that the town streets are full of wraiths, from which the girl has to hide. To survive, you have to sneak past the ghosts, divert their attention, and try to outsmart them.

The game is set in a futuristic city, where gender and species differences became blurred, and a new hobby emerged: collecting people's memories. Fyn, a girl tired of her present life, decided to go through somebody else's memories to rediscover her own identity. The story in each episode may take a different turn, depending on your actions.

The plot of The Park takes us to a theme park surrounded with a dense forest, which brings to mind The Secret World's Atlantic Island Park.
