She is accompanied by an angel who took the form of a beautiful butterfly. The game is presented from a side-scrolling perspective. In it, we explore oneiric locations filled with traps and obstacles. Jennifer will have to not only face many dangers, but also solve various puzzles. They are based on gravity, time, and space manipulation. For example, one of them will require us to mirror the entire scene to unlock a passage, while others will only make us move one of the elements of the environment. Lost Journey has unique, 2D visuals that look as if it they were created using watercolor. The game also features a soothing ambient soundtrack.

The game takes place in the Horribilorum Sorcery Academy, and your task is to brew increasingly complicated potions. To succeed, you have to follow the instructions and choose the right ingredients. When you clear one of them, just like in any other match-3 game, the ones above them fall down, often diametrically changing the whole board. If two components of the same kind touch, they explode. Another obstacle is the limited capacity of the ingredients container. Potion Explosion features a single player mode, in which you play against the AI, and a multiplayer mode, in which you compete with other players. There is also an online ranking to display you accomplishments.

Highway Getaway is a racing game/endless runner hybrid developed jointly by Invictus Games and Vivid Games. We play as a race driver who is being chased by the police. The game takes place on the streets with heavy traffic. All race tracks are generated procedurally. All we have to do is to drive as far as possible and beat the records set by other players. Highway Getaway offers over two hundred diversified missions. As we progress and achieve better results we will unlock new cars and gain access to new visual modifications, which we can buy for the in-game currency that we get while playing. How much money we make depends on our achievements. Driving at high speed and performing dangerous maneuvers increases our infamy levels, for which we are being paid by a TV station that produces a show about car pursuits. Highway Getaway features great visuals and highly detailed car models.

Strategy, 2D, Economic, Horror, Indie Games, RTS, Singleplayer.
An original economic strategy game developed by Wild Factor, also known for the acclaimed Freaking Meatbags. In the game, the player assumes the role of a fledgling owner of a shabby abode – his task is to make it into a mansion for various monsters, mutated plants, and psychopathic murderers, all taken straight from horror films. During the game, one has to construct new rooms, upgrade the existing ones, and lure innocent victims into the mansion – our vicious protégés can murder them and loot their bodies for resources necessary for crafting new items. What is worth noticing, the player has to obey the usual, unwritten rules of horror B-movies – murders can occur only at night, the virgins have to be the last ones to die, and such. In MachiaVillain one has to remember that the innocent victims are not the only ones to step through our threshold – our residence is visited by other monsters, who in turn can be caught and convinced to work for us, as well as supernatural creature hunters, police operatives, and even SWAT units. Because of that, combat is an important aspect of the game, offering an active pause system that allows the players to fight, observe and plan their strategies.

A sports arcade game from the developers of popular MMO title EVE Online, intended for virtual reality devices. Sparc lets us take part in the eponymous sports discipline resembling the classic game of dodgeball. The players take static positions at the opposing ends of a long hallway and try to hit the opponent with the ball using motion controllers. Being stuck in one place doesn’t mean we can’t dodge by moving our body. Because of that and the realistic physics system, the ricochets from walls, floor and ceiling play a key role in the game, as they can be used to deceive opponents and increase the chance of hitting them. Sparc has been developed with multiplayer for two players in mind. The game also offers solo options, such as training, and social aspects, e.g. virtual spectators. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and requires virtual reality headset along with motion controllers that register the users’ gestures.

Players’ character and their crew gain experience, and the ship can also be upgraded. However, it is impossible to recover a sunken ship, meaning that a captain of such a vessel must build his position from scratch, of course if he survives – otherwise the players must start from the beginning. An MMO game featuring elements of action, real-time strategy and role-playing. The game was created by NetDragon; it is a free-to-play title that uses microtransactions. Tiger Knight: Empire War is set in the second century AD. The player picks a side and assumes the role of a general - the game features Rome, the Parthian Empire, the Kushan Empire and the Chinese Han dynasty - those were the largest empires of the period. The gameplay formula was based on two pillars. Spectacular, fast-paced action is the first of them; the player takes part in direct combat against enemy forces. The game stands out with an extensive combat system - not only is one's effectiveness dependent on the weapon and technique we use, but also on the kind of armor the enemy is using. The second of the pillars is constituted by the strategic aspects. What is significant here, is that the player has to command armies comprised of both regular soldiers and commanders gifted with special abilities. Being able to apply adequate tactics, as well as putting one's units into a formation that corresponds to the topography of the battlefield is the key to success here. Furthermore, the game comes with a set of diverse modes - those allow us to take part in multiplayer skirmishes, as well as to cooperate with our team during a full-spectrum conflict against the AI.

A horror with logical game elements, created by Chinese studio TianShe Media. The player assumes the role of a housemaid, who decides to solve the mystery behind the mysterious disappearance of the Victorian residence’s inhabitants. The gameplay in Weeping Doll is presented from a first person perspective, and focuses on exploration, searching for story clues and keys, and finally solving various riddles which involve object manipulation. The title was created with virtual reality goggles in mind – we have the ability to look around the environment using head movements, while movement was realized in form of teleportation between spots, controlled by analog stick. The game employs Unreal Engine 4 technology, which is a base for high-quality visuals. The graphics received an interesting touch through using a special filter that builds the characteristic, horror-esque vibe.

Puzzle, 2D, Indie Games, Match-3, Singleplayer.
An extensive logic game belonging to the so-called match 3 subgenre; it was developed by Playrix Games. The player assumes the role of a gardener whose task is to restore a parcel back to its former glory and discover the secrets of the place along the way. The entire game is set in a large garden divided into several sections. In terms of mechanics, typical "match-3-objects" rules were applied here. Thus the player's goal is to match pictures of different plants together to create spectacular-looking combinations, which results in scoring an adequate number of points. Those can be spent on gradual expanding of the parcel. The experience is diversified by numerous bonuses and hacks, such as stopping the passage of time for a short while. Between subsequent levels, the player is taken to story-based segments - during those, the protagonist can talk to different characters, buy new garden accessories and plant more and more beautiful pieces of greenery.
