Developed by Marvelous AQL, another installment of the third-person perspective action games subseries of the Fate franchise, which after a longer break returns to gaming consoles. The action of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star takes place after events from Fate/EXTRA. As the previous war comes to an end, the supercomputer Moon Cell Automaton takes over the world and sends the players to a digital kingdom known as SE.RA.PH., where they have to fight one more battle for freedom. Mechanics slightly resemble productions from the Dynasty Warriors series. During gameplay you control one of 16 characters known as Servants – there are both some new and old characters. Each of the aforementioned figures possesses unique, great powers that you can use in combat with tens (or even hundreds) of enemies at the same time. In contrast to the other titles in the franchise, representing either jRPG or visual novel genres, this production features fast and spectacular action in the form of a hack-and-slash.

A sports arcade game created by Korean studio called JoyCity Entertainment, focusing on street basketball. The players participate in matches between two three-member teams and control distinctive players that have their own tricks and prefer certain positions on the field. The core of 3on3 FreeStyle is the multiplayer – besides online matches, in which each player controls only one person on the field and all the players try to work together as a team, we can also create an online team and face gamers from all over the world. There is also a simple single player mode – a training with players controlled by AI. The game's characteristic trait is the hand-drawn visual style. It should be also mentioned that the game is released in free-to-play model.

Return 2 Games: Book of Demons is the first production from a planned series that is intended to pay homage to the best titles of the last decade of the 20th century. The production’s plot is another variation of the fight between good and evil and a chosen one who saves the world from annihilation. It is a quite clear pastiche of the cult classic Diablo and its clones. In the game, we assume the role of a hero who belongs to one of three different classes, and our main task is to combat hordes of demons. During breaks between subsequent quests, we can go to the city, talk to non-player characters, and trade equipment. The gameplay is complemented by the possibility of acquiring and collecting cards that represent various skills of our character. The game features a curious visuals style thanks to which the game world looks as if it’s created from cut-outs.

However, the protagonist's own brother allied himself with the demons and tries to prevent the delivery of this plan. The game is a typical representative of the genre, thus the player explores an open world, completes quests, gathers items, develops the character and fights enemies. Combat here is based on the idea of one on one duels, during which the player does not have any direct control over the protagonist. Instead, attacking (melee), blocking enemy strikes, dodging them and casting spells is all done by executing the right gestures on the screen.

In comparison to the previous installments, this version is reduced. During gameplay you visit various locations based on Disney animations, in which you fight monsters known as the Heartless. The turn-based battles with the medal system play a key role in the game. During a turn, you get one action point for each medal the character is equipped with. By tapping the enemy or sliding a finger across the screen, you carry out an attack against a single unit or a group of enemies. Moreover, medals give you special abilities which can be developed through the game. The fairytale-like atmosphere is complemented by cartoonish 2D graphics.

Adventure, Experimental/artistic, Indie Games, Point-and-click, Singleplayer.

A point-n-click adventure from the creators of Among the Sleep, a first-person perspective horror in which you control a two-year-old child. The title concentrates on the themes of weariness of life and the feeling of alienation. In Mosaic, you assume the role of an office employee working in a soulless corporation. Day after day, following a monotonous routine, the hero realizes that he does not belong to this artificial and heartless world. The moment he decides to change his life, inexplicable things begin to take place. Your aim is to reveal who or what is responsible for that. Mosaic emphasizes the narration. During gameplay, you mainly explore and solve puzzles. The title features a heavier atmosphere than that in most point-n-click adventures, and discusses a ubiquitous problem of the human alienation in a big city. The gloomy and stifling atmosphere is even more intensified by a disturbing soundtrack and depressing, steel and gray colors.

An MMORPG developed by Soulbound. Chronicles of Elyria is set in a fantasy world inspired by the medieval Europe. The game received financial support on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. The mechanics combine elements borrowed from the classics of the genre with innovative features. Therefore, the player explores a diverse, extensive world, completes various quests, but also caters for the basic needs of their character - food, drink, rest and shelter from cold and heat all have to be provided. Interestingly, the player's avatar can get married and have children. What is especially innovative however, is that one's character ages and eventually dies - their soul reincarnates and the player can continue the adventure in the body of the deceased's relative. What is also worth mentioning, is the game's character development system (which is based on skills learned alongside progression), and a complex and demanding combat system. Furthermore, both NPCs and players can give quests. Chronicles of Elyria offers both the PvE and PvP components. Obviously, the player is capable of founding guilds and making alliances as well.

A fantasy action RPG developed by Polish studio Artifex Mundi. The game, developed for mobile platforms, uses free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions. The player assumes the role of the last member of the Order of the Valiant, who after many centuries returns to the realm in order to avenge his brothers and save what is left of the world. Similarly as in classic hack’n’slash games, the action is shown from a top-down perspective and the player most of the time explores the world and participates in dynamic combat with monsters. Bladebound employs touch-based controls in which one must draw lines on the screen with his finger. These lines create powerful attacks and spells. The game also contains a character progression system and the possibility to obtain better equipment and weapon. The crafting system allows the player to create his own weapons.

An online survival game developed by Free Reign Entertainment, a studio established by the creator of Infestation: Survivor Stories and Romero's Aftermath. The action of Shattered Skies takes place on Earth, devastated by a space cataclysm — the Moon was smashed to pieces by a comet, while our planet was infested with an alien life form that degraded the environment and turned people into monsters. The players assume the role of one of the few survivors, whose only choice is to fight for their lives. The threats include not only the monsters but also other participants. On the other hand, the interactions between players do not boil down to competition — we might as well cooperate or trade items. In Shattered Skies, it is essential to traverse open locations in search of food, water, and anything useful. While resting, it is best to head to a survivors’ camp or, if that’s impossible, barricade ourselves in some building, barring the windows and setting up traps.

The player assumes the role of Freja - a hired female pilot whose ship crashes on the surface of an unknown planet. In order to escape the planet, Freja has to make her way through hordes of hostile alien life forms and find materials required to communicate with those capable of rescuing her. The player explores procedurally generated environments and shoots enemies. In-game death is permanent and forces the player to start over from the very beginning. What makes the job easier however, is the fact that the protagonist is able to gather DNA from her victims. Different DNA combinations can be created before the next attempt - those give access to useful mutations.

The game was developed by an Italian studio The Fox Software, which specializes in this genre - it is popular mainly for such games as Ico Soccer for Nintendo DS or Throw In for PCs; the latter being a remake of the classic title Kick Off 2. The game focuses on delivering an arcade experience and is played from a classic aerial view. The player does not have to get accustomed to using many buttons. The game offers over 800 national and league teams from all over the world, giving an opportunity to play different kinds of matches. Unfortunately, Active Soccer 2 does not use official licenses, but the creators included a simple team editor, so the player does not have to use the default club and footballer names. One can play friendly matches, as well as both league and cup games, apart from taking part in the career mode, which is complemented by a simplistic management module, requiring the player to develop adequate tactics, supervise transfers and take care of funding-related issues. Active Soccer 2 also offers a cross-platform online mode.

An action-adventure game developed by RSK Entertainment, based on authentic events from Iran’s history. The plot of Dark Years takes us to 1950s, where, as a result of a secret pact between Great Britain and USA, a democratically chosen government led by Mohammad Mosaddegh is overthrown, resulting in a serious political crisis as well as destabilization and violence among local communities. The game intertwines the fates of two people: Major Afshar, who is ordered to reveal the mystery behind a series of murders that shocked Tehran, and an Iranian journalist based in London, who falls onto a trail of a conspiracy aimed at his country. When it comes to mechanics, the title is a third-person perspective adventure game with action elements, focusing mainly on exploration and puzzle solving; however,a huge emphasis was placed on conversations with encountered characters.
