Developed by Electro Phantom Games studio, an arcade racing game, inspired by the late installments of the Need for Speed series. The action of Speed Elixir is set in an open world, in which we will find mountainous and desert landscapes as well as highways, and each of the surfaces is characterized by different car handling. A dozen or so of various game modes has been prepared for virtual drivers, including classic races, time attacks or police chases (hot pursuits), but during the gameplay we can also devote ourselves to pure exploration and admiring the view. The arcade driving system used in the game places special emphasis on speed and spectacular drifting, requiring a lot of practice to achieve mastery. The characteristic feature of the game, taken from the aforementioned Need for Speed series, is the integration of single and multiplayer modes, allowing for smooth transition between them, without the need to enter the lobby.

Adventure, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, Visual Novel.

A visual novel adventure game developed by Modern Visual Arts Laboratory. The game was at first released in South Korea, and after that its refreshed version debuted worldwide. The story takes place in a future where androids became a normal part of human life. Lucy: The Eternity She Wished For tells a story of a young boy who finds Lucy, an android that is different than all other machines, on a garbage dumb. Lucy, in contrast to other androids, has feelings and acts like a human. Similarly as in other visual novels, the gameplay mostly consists of discovering the story created by developers and of making decisions during specific points of the game. These decisions impact the direction of the plot of the game. The title employs manga-style visuals that consist mostly of static images with text lines that reveal the story.

Another major DLC for Europa Universalis IV, which is still being supported by Paradox Interactive despite the fact that it has been three years since the vanilla game’s release. Just like the title suggests, Mare Nostrum (Our Sea, as the Romans used to call the Mediterranean Sea) is focused primarily on developing and enhancing sea trade and naval battles. The biggest novelty is the introduction of sailors who influence our fleets’ strength and are necessary to build and repair our ships. Moreover, the expansion adds a completely new system that makes directing our fleets easier while they perform various tasks and patrol duties. Now, we can also hire mercenaries, the so-called condottieri, who take part in foreign wars, and found trade leagues that give us unique military and economic bonuses. The novelties list also features spy networks, corruption mechanics, new African nations (including the ones involved in piracy), and geographical and cultural map corrections.

An unusual production by Pawel Mogila from Mogila Games. The title features elements characteristic for logic, action, platform, and even stealth games. You assume the role of Samson who, as the title outright states, is clinically dead. This means that for him, the time has stopped – due to that, he can contemplate his whole life. This translates into traveling through surreal places, which symbolize the hero’s mind, and talking with his own subconsciousness. In Clinically Dead, the action is presented from the first-person perspective. Logic puzzles are the backbone of the game – you need to manipulate time, represented by multi-colored stains on the environment elements. Your job is to maneuver these objects so that they adjust correctly at the right moment, which unlocks another location. Moreover, the hero also jumps on the platforms, faces opponents (using melee weapons or magic bullets), or sneaks behind their backs. This is a non-linear title featuring locations connected by multiple paths.

A text adventure game focusing on co-op experience and investigation-related aspects. It was created by Mi-Clos - a French developer. The year is 1983 and the plot is set in the titular Antioch - a fictional town surrounded by sea and mountains. The game follows the adventures of two detectives working on an exceptionally complicated case. The entire action takes place in a small, open world, where a large number of side cases await for solving, apart from the main storyline the game presents the player with. When it comes to the mechanics, Antioch makes references to classic gamebooks - for the most part, the player is engaged in reading, which is accompanied by numerous graphics and animations displayed. However, the game stands out with its focus on cooperation between two players assuming the roles of the detectives mentioned above. Their mutual interactions, decisions made and teamwork during interrogations all shape the course of the story and affect the final results of the investigation.

An original mix of video game genres featuring elements of strategy, RPG, roguelike, economy, and exploration. The title was created by It Matters Games, a producer of mobile and browser games. Caravan takes you to the Arabian Peninsula in the beginning of the Common Era. The land was recreated with attention to historical detail, which however, did not stop the developer from implementing fantasy elements rooting back to the Middle-Eastern mythology. In the game you assume the role of a head of a prominent merchant family, who currently leads a caravan. Using the in-game map you select your travel destination and pick companions as well as stock up on water or merchandise. As you journey across the land you encounter random events – at those moments the perspective switches to a 2D view of the caravan. The same happens in towns, which you visit in order to trade and develop your character’s skills. Combat and bargaining take on the form of an original mini-game, which is a combination of rock-paper-scissors and a dice game.

Similarly as in case of a typical pinball, in Inks the player bounces a ball by using flippers placed at the bottom of the screen. However, instead of an impressive pinball table, in this game the screen shows only a simple background with lightly drawn contour. The screen, which at first is gray, quickly gains new colors as each hit at the specially marked edges of the table makes colorful paints spill. Interesting, unique effects that can be considered similar to modern art, are obtained thanks to the splashes and streaks painted by the physical engine and the rolling ball. In addition to nice aesthetics of one’s creations, the player also receives points as a reward – the more accurately he hits various tunnels, ramps etc, the more points he gains.

The production does not alter the gameplay mechanics in any way, still offering a combination of a classical RTS and an RPG. Therefore, the game focuses on gathering resources, base development, training units, and commanding them into subsequent battles. What differentiates the game from the original Warcraft III are the clearly prettier graphics created from scratch while remaining true to the source. In the wake of numerous unsuccessful attempts to eradicate the brutal sport, the authorities eventually admitted their defeat and accepted it as an official sports discipline along with its TV broadcasts. When one day she has a dream that her father has been imprisoned in the sea depths, the little heroine decides to build a small submarine and embark on a rescue mission. In terms of mechanics, we are dealing with a classic representative of the genre, in which we traverse a semi-open world divided into various, distinctive locations. The creators have put various challenges in our way, including things like clearing our path and, of course, fighting enemies and challenging bosses. Our submarine can be improved in the course of the game, receiving various abilities that help during combat and allowing us to access previously unavailable locations. A third-person arcade game developed by a Disney Interactive's proprietary studio. The game is based on the famous science-fiction movie franchise, TRON. The action takes place in a virtual world located within a computer system. The protagonist, Kevin Flynn, is a programmer and the main character of the original 1982 movie. The gameplay mechanics were inspired by a popular genre existing on mobile devices - games known as endless runners. However, this game introduces a series of changes required for it to fit into the specifics of regular gaming systems. The individual routes in the game are not infinite or even randomly generated, each has its starting and ending points. The game offers two different types of routes that can be traveled sprinting on foot or sitting on a motorbike. Each of the routes available is filled with different traps and threats that have to be avoided by performing risky stunts. When running, the player also collects different bonuses and fights enemies in occasional combat sequences.

The second large expansion for Cities: Skylines, an economic strategy game developed by Colossal Order. The Snowfall add-on introduces changing weather conditions and temperature fluctuation that can significantly influence the functioning of our city. As the temperature goes down, the citizens consume a lot more power, requiring us to meet the increased demand for electricity or build a municipal central heating system. Apart from rain and fog, which are both purely cosmetic events, a heavy snowfall can be a serious problem for the mayor as it paralyzes traffic and necessitates additional spending for snow clearing. Furthermore, the expansion offers a myriad of new buildings connected to the theme of winter, improved city transport management, and the long-awaited trams that complement the list of available means of public transportation.

A refreshed version of the original online game from 2005. The project started its life as a modification to the cult game Half-Life 2. The story of the game was inspired by the novel Death on the Nile written by Agatha Christie. The game takes place on a ship where each of the passengers receives a task to kill a specific person. The objective can be completed in various ways, by using a wide variety of weapons and useful gadgets. Security systems and the necessity to take care of various needs of the character make the task harder. While trying to eliminate their own target, the players cannot forget that they themselves may be a someone else's target. Because of that, one must perform actions that will mislead the opponent – change clothes or hairstyle. The Ship: Remastered doesn’t introduce any changes to the gameplay mechanics except offering improved graphics in HD resolution.

Strategy, Internet, Multiplayer, RTS, Singleplayer.

A simplistic RTS developed by Flaregames. It is a mobile spin-off to a series of tower defense games created by Subatomic Studios. The game is set in the world known from the previous installments and the player fights servants of a crazy scientist known as Dr. Catastrophe during an extensive story-based campaign. The mechanics combine elements of classic real-time strategy games with some aspects of casual titles for mobile devices, such as Clash of Clans. On one hand, the player is involved in managing their base, gathering resources, constructing new buildings and conducting research on technological improvements. On the other hand, the player trains an army, taking part in subsequent skirmishes against the enemies. During the battles, the player gives orders concerning movement and attack-related options freely, making the game resemble classic real-time strategies in this aspect. The enemy does not remain passive, for they try applying different tactics to make it more difficult for the player to achieve victory.

Candy Crush Jelly Saga is based on the popular match-3 mechanics and, similarly to previous installments of the series, features no storyline, focusing entirely on gameplay. The objective of the game is to conquer more than a hundred available levels by creating sets of at least three candies of the same type out of many more shown on the screen. In contrast to most other match-3 games, the levels aren’t randomly generated – instead, each of them is a carefully-planned logical challenge with candies placed in specific places and featuring unique map shapes. The gameplay is more varied thanks to the boss fights, during which the player must complete additional objectives. The game provides also means for competition between friends through internet rankings.
