Another strategy game developed by Strategic Simulations Inc. This time the developers are taking the player to a world that combines fantasy and steampunk. The player is tasked with assuming the role of one of the four masters summoned to destroy the evil Shadowlord and his followers. Fantasy General focuses primarily on combat, during which the player uses units of four categories – immortal, magic, monsters, and mechanical. Each category is additionally divided into ten classes, like for example light and heavy infantry, cavalry, or archers. Although the key to victory lies in building a varied army that will prove to be effective in various circumstances, setting proper research priorities and taking care of economical aspects is important as well. The title uses a modified engine of Panzer General. Contrary to the previous entries in the series, in this game the squads consist of no more than fifteen soldiers. Similarly to previous games, the title offers single player campaign and a multiplayer mode.

Invisible, Inc. is an isometric turn-based tactical game developed by Klei Entertainment, a studio known for Mark of the Ninja, Don't Starve, and Shank. Players take on the role of the leader of a spy organization. Our job is to infiltrate world's most tightly guarded locations and recover classified intelligence. During the missions, we control a group of agents and try to finish our job without being noticed. We will have to hack security systems, manipulate video surveillance, and cover our tracks if we want to stay undetected. Openly attacking the guards is a rather bad idea and usually ends with our team member's definitive death. We also can't learn the levels by heart because everything is generated procedurally, including the guard's positioning. Invisible, Inc. has a 2D, comic book-inspired visuals.

A two-dimensional shoot ‘em up arcade game developed by the 17-bit studio. In GALAK-Z, we assume the role of a space fighter pilot who has to face enemies armed to the teeth and hostile environmental conditions. Although the general gameplay premise isn’t really different from the genre’s standards, the developers introduced several innovations. The first is the control model based on two analog sticks that we use to move and shoot, while special attacks are assigned to gamepad buttons. Moreover, the game world is a one huge open level with smaller or bigger asteroids, each having its own network of caves where we can hide from enemy fire. When designing levels, ships, and the available characters, the developers took inspiration from the classics of anime and the science fiction TV series from the ‘70s and ‘80s.

During his mission, Randall can use his powerful telepathic abilities, which allow him to read others’ thoughts and jump straight into enemies’ minds. Basic gameplay mechanics follow the platform convention, and build on such aspects as exploration, getting through the obstacles, and fighting foes. The game introduces two kinds of maps - the first one features areas in the real world, while the second one comprises locations existing only in the enemies’ minds.

The player assumes the role of a general who comes back from a retirement when an intergalactic conflict begins. The game takes place near the so-called Sun Gate, an installation which enables people to quickly travel between planetary systems. The gameplay focuses on building bases, gathering resources, constructing fleets, researching technologies, participating in diplomacy and conquering. Like in the cult classic Homeworld, in Void Destroyer the player participates in fully three-dimensional space battles. The player can participate in battles as a general who leads their units in a strategic manner or he can take control of a single ship and fight directly. The game features an active pause that can be activated at any point of the fight in order to give orders to units by using a tactical view.
