Bandits led by Captain Scarlett live and operate in that area. What’s interesting, the members of this group act, look and talk like real pirates. Their story and the legend of the hidden treasure are the main plot of the expansion pack. During the missions available in Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty the player faces previously unknown enemies and four new bosses: Captain Scarlett, Leviathan, Hyperius the Invincible and Master Gee the Invincible. The desert locations can be explored by using a vehicle similar to a hovercraft. The expansion adds new item type and currency. Each of them has an army made of skilled warriors of different races and classes. There are two basic aspects to the gameplay: real time world exploration, where we also gather resources and recruit our army, and the turn-based tactical battles that take place on hexagonal battlefields.
