Based on the set of rules taken from the Shadowrun role-playing system, Shadowrun Chronicles: Boston Lockdown is an online turn-based strategy developed by Cliffhanger Productions, also known for Jagged Alliance Online. The game takes you to a cyberpunk world torn by conflicts, where elements of science fiction and fantasy coexist. Player-controlled characters – men and women raised in the underground – take on various dangerous missions, which feature both stealthy infiltration as well as open combat. Gameplay consists of two layers. As for the missions, they are presented in the isometric view, like it was in the Jagged Alliance series, and while doing them you make use of a variety of character skills offered by special cybernetic implants. Equally much time the player spends on the city map, where he gathers the necessary intel and prepares for the next job. In the planning phase you can e.g. bribe guards, meet informants, or acquire building schematics.

When it comes to combat, The Repopulation offers a standard division between PvP and PvE modes, and introduces two combat systems: a classic RPG mode, and an Action Mode, enabling the players to use covers, aim freely, or use a prone position. The experience system is based on development trees offering more than 100 abilities, divided between 15 advancement levels. The game also contains an advanced crafting system, enabling the players to create simple items, weapons, or vehicles, as well as fully-functional cities with complex defensive systems.

A two-dimensional platformer that resembles the iconic Limbo. It was developed by two independent programmers: Adrian Stutz and Florian Faller and has won many industry awards, including Excellence in Visual Arts. We play as a little creature that only moves to the right, traversing levels filled with traps and enemies. Our character can fight back by throwing objects or attacking with a stick, while he retains his distance. The puzzles revolve around physics, which must be used to overcome obstacles. Feist employs visuals similar to Limbo’s, with black outlines of objects on pastel-like background, though the latter being much more detailed and colorful.

A unique first-person action game, developed by Bullfrog, that can be described as an arcade simulator of the eponymous flying furniture. Its story is set in a fantasy world inhabited by many mythical creatures, with us taking the role of a young wizard, who, after the death of his mentor, decides to follow in his footsteps. The objective of the game is to gather enough magical energy to bring back peace to the lands ravaged by internal conflicts of mages. During each mission we are given our own castle and a unique means of transport in the form of a flying carpet. The gameplay takes place in fully three-dimensional environment and concentrates on fighting enemies by using 20 different offensive and defensive spells. There are also some supporting incantations, e.g. summoning an army of skeletons or teleporting back to our stronghold to regain energy.

You discover the further fate of Goku, who has to face the Red Ribbon Army, which wants to take over the world. Unlike its predecessor, this time you control not only the protagonist, but also other characters from the animated series, such as Yamcha and Krillin. Like in the first game in the series, the gameplay was inspired by that of the Legend of Zelda franchise. The game utilizes an isometric view, and apart from exploration and combat, it also features platform and logic puzzle stages. Dragon Ball: Origins 2 allows you to play either on your own or in the multiplayer mode. Apart from the story mode, there is also the Survival Tower mode, in which you battle extremely strong opponents in special arenas.
