The second expansion to Crusader Kings II: Dark Ages, a successful strategy game released in 2012 by Paradox Interactive. As the name suggests, Crusader Kings II: Legacy of Rome concentrates on the legacy left by the Roman Empire. The expansion allows the player to assume the role of the ruler of the Byzantine Empire or its part. The new challenge that the player must face are his vassals who represent various factions that not only compete with each other but are also ready to unite against their ruler. Joining one of these factions can provide political bonuses and help deal with conspirators. The military aspect of the game was changed and the role of the commanders was increased – their abilities and traits can now strongly affect the outcome of battles. Army mobilization system was simplified and an option to permanently hire mercenary armies was added. Among other novelties there is ruler development system, the possibility to assign orthodox patriarchs and a series of unique decisions and historical events.

One of Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons developed by Simdesign. VFR Poland 3D Landmarks adds the land objects that are used as reference in VFR (Visual Flight Rules) navigation over the area of Poland. The developers used real flight plans, mapped in accordance with AIP POLAND ENR 5.4 Amendment No 060, which enabled them to recreate some of the characteristic land objects, including tall buildings and objects such as skyscrapers, masts, chimneys, or fuel tanks. In all, the add-on introduces 366 land objects, generated using GMAX, a rendering package with additional post-production effects including advanced lighting. The add-on also contains a set of special effects and animations that create more believable weather conditions that can be encountered on Polish skies. VFR Poland 3D Landmarks is fully compatible with other expansions dedicated to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

The game is set in a dark labyrinth infested with evil forces that terrorize the people living nearby. You play as the leader of a group of adventurers, who, looking for riches and fame, delve into the underground to destroy the eponymous Dark Gates and the wizard guarding them. Like in the original tabletop version, your party consists of six heroes, each of them possessing a set of attributes and special abilities. The gameplay focuses on exploring the procedurally generated labyrinth and turn-based battles with monsters. As you win battles, you gain experience points, gold, and random loot, such as weapons, armor or magical potions. The game features hand-drawn 2D visuals, inspired by classing pen-and-paper RPGs.

A simple real-time strategy by Polish studio Squatting Penguins. Plot of The Mims Beginning tells the story of the titular Mims, who traverse the galaxy in search of a new home. However, their ship gets damaged by an asteroid, so they are forced to seek refuge at nearby celestial bodies, each of which is distinguished by a different climate and terrain. Player's task is to help Mims in building and developing a colony under those difficult conditions. During the game we have to face many problems, the biggest of which are epidemic shortages of energy, generated from fruits of various plants. Furthermore, we have deal with local fauna, e.g. giant dragons, as well as with other threats. A characteristic feature of the game is that – like in the Black & White series – we do not have full control over our subjects and in the course of gameplay we can only indirectly influence their actions by giving simple commands, planting plants or designing the colony.

Delver’s Drop is a 2D action RPG developed by Pixelscopic. Our task in the game is to explore procedurally generated dungeons, fight with monsters, and develop our character. There are three classes available in Delver’s Drop: Rogue, Sorcerer, and Gladiator. Each of them has their own movement system and unique weapons and abilities. The game uses a unique physics engine that makes it easier to interact with objects, fight, and solve various riddles. Each character, enemy, and object in the game has its own physical properties like mass, friction, speed, and acceleration. All of these qualities open many ways of dealing with enemies and riddles. Along with single player, Delver’s Drop offers two multiplayer modes - Horde Mode and Deathmatch.
