The main character is Goku, and the story, which begins with him meeting Bulma, focuses on their journey in search for the eponymous Dragon Balls. The gameplay consists of exploring the in-game world, completing various quests, solving puzzles, and fighting enemies. The combat is turn-based, and you attack by making simple gestures. Having reached the right Ki energy level, you can use many special attacks, including the famous “Kamehameha” shockwave. The 2D visuals have been based on the style of the original animated series.

A 3D action-adventure fighting game by Ubisoft and a sequel to the 2007 Xbox 260 game Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. The plot is a continuation of the story from its predecessor: when the protagonist is recognized as a splendid ninja, his best friend, Sasuke, becomes jealous. The fact is taken advantage of by the leader of the renegade ninjas, Orochimaru, who talks Sasuke into leaving his companions and joining his side. Of course, Naruto decides to search for his friend and snatch him from the enemy's hands. Mechanics-wise, it is another action-adventure game, which emphasizes spectacular combat. Unlike in the previous installment, in Naruto: The Broken Bond you don't control just one character but a group of three.

A sequel to the 3D fighting game by Tomy, telling the story of the popular Japanese comic book and animated TV series character. Like its predecessor, the game focuses on fast and dynamic combat; you fight your enemies on specially designed arenas. Clash of Ninja 2 features more attacks, a new combat system and method of attacking. It also introduces the co-op multiplayer mode for up to 4 players. Visually, the game resembles its predecessor, and thanks to the cartoonish graphics and cel-shading its style is close to that of the animated series.

The gameplay in Dragon Ball Z: Advanced Adventure is presented as a side-scroller, and consists of exploration of the environment, jumping between platforms, solving simple environmental puzzles, and combat with encountered enemies. While standard opponents do not stand a chance, boss encounters that await at the end of every level require using advanced battle techniques of our hero (including the trademark “Kamehameha” generated from his Ki) and employing special tactics. The game is complemented by colorful visuals, inspired by the craft of Japanese mangakas.
