Anderson & The Legacy of Cthulhu is an action adventure game with elements of horror, realized by programmers from Homegrown Games group. Due to the fact that the studio consists partly of fantasy literature experts, masters of the paper RPG Call of Cthulhu and the authors of the campaign for this system, the game draws full bits from the prose of H.P. Lovecraft, guaranteeing the recipients a solid dose of blood-chilling experiences.

Designed by an independent developer Digital Media Workshop, a first-person point-and-click adventure game set in a science fiction environment. The main hero wakes up one day in a strange place that looks like an advanced research facility with all sorts of specialized medical instruments. As he tries to understand how he got there and what is the purpose of the place, the protagonist finds out that the key to the mystery lies in the vast data base available via local information systems. Prominence features a non-linear story – the way it unfolds depends greatly on the player’s decision made in key story moments. As for the gameplay, it boils down to solving a string of interconnected puzzles, which require intelligence and the ability to correlate facts. Interestingly, individual puzzles offer multiple solutions, giving a lot of space for the player’s creativity.
