Strategy, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, Tower Defense, Nintendo Exclusive.
A strategy tower defense game and a spin-off to the popular series of TPP shooters that were available on many Nintendo consoles. The main character of Star Fox Guard is Grippy Toad (uncle of Slippy Toad, one of the series' main protagonists) whose job it is to mine rare minerals. Various enemies are trying to interrupt him and the player is tasked with stopping them. The gameplay mechanics are typical for a tower defense genre, but the also game makes use of the possibilities offered by the WiiU console. During the game, an interactive map of the area appears on the gamepad. The player can use it to set up security cameras that will shoot at the incoming enemies. At the same time, on the TV screen, one can see the images coming from all twelve cameras. In addition to one hundred scenarios prepared by the developers, the game also contains an editor that allows the player to create new ones. Star Fox Guard is added for free as a bonus to Star Fox Zero, but it can also be bought separately.

RPG, Fantasy, Mario, Singleplayer, Nintendo Exclusive.
Another installment in a series of popular RPGs brought by Nintendo and created specifically for Wii U. The player is taken to the Prism island - a place which was once very beautiful but is now losing its colors for unknown reasons. Mario's task is to discover the source of this terrible situation and save the island. The game offers interesting mechanics that distinguish this title from other role-playing games. The player is required to color blank spots in the game world, but to do so, Mario needs to equip a special hammer. Hitting things with it results in colors being restored in the area, characters getting revived and prisoners released. For doing all of this, the player is given golden coins. Interestingly, the player is engaged in coloring even in combat, but instead of coloring parts of the game world, special cards become their targets, representing different kinds of attacks. In terms of visuals, the game combines three-dimensional environments with flat, "paper" characters. Paper Mario: Color Splash is a very colorful game as its very title suggests, resembling in this aspect other games featuring the famous plumber.

A mix of puzzle, action and board game genres from Bird Studio. The title is based on a classic anime, based on the manga created by Akira Toriyama. Players must create an undefeated team of heroes that will win against all adversaries. Gameplay is based on two pillars, the first being unique battles that focus on combining groups of colorful Ki balls. This results in a certain amount of damage being dealt to the opponent, depending on type of combination, and effects can take the form of eye-catching animations, resembling the animated series. We can also charge powerful, game-changing special attacks. The second part of the game takes place on a two-dimensional board – we move our character to collect useful items and money. Additionally, there is a simple system of character development. Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle lets us play solo or with friends. The title is distributed in free-to-play model with micropayments – real money can be used to buy new character cards to our collection.

A full-fledged continuation of a science-fiction turn-based strategy developed by Mode 7 Games. In its premise, Frozen Synapse 2 doesn’t differ much from what its predecessor offered, and focuses on combat using small units, emphasizing strategic planning. The main distinguishing element of the game (and the whole series) is the fact that the encounters are turn-based, but the players make their moves simultaneously, rather than alternately. This forces a completely different approach from the players, and keeps them on their toes when anticipating the next move of their enemy. In contrast to its predecessor, Frozen Synapse 2 has a much more open world, directly resulting in bigger maps, which has an utmost impact on the strategic layer of the game. The whole game is seen from a good old top-down view, and introduces a similar stern visual style, with a rather cold color palette.

A mobile version of a cult-classic Polish real-time strategy released in 1996. The remake is currently in development by Home Net Games, a small team led by Miroslaw Dymek, one of the co-creators of the original game. We are introduced to Mirko, a head of a small village which has been burned to the ground by a rivaling tribe. When it comes to mechanics, we are given a classic real-time strategy inspired by the cult-classic Warcraft. As a result, the player focuses on expanding his base and combat. Both goals require extended effort, including resource gathering, constructing buildings, or recruiting military forces and leading them in battle. Interestingly enough, the game’s economy is based on milk, which can be gathered from grazing cows. Polanie Remake attempts to reintroduce the classic traits and the atmosphere of its predecessor, all the while offering detailed and high-definition visuals and a remade soundtrack.

A humorous top-down shooter created by the independent developer team at Team2Bit. The action takes place in 1986 when a mysterious organization kidnaps the leaders of the world's two main superpowers: Reagan and Gorbachev. With both the world peace and themselves being at risk, the two presidents have to put aside their differences and join forces, for only cooperation will allow them to escape and prevent a nuclear apocalypse. The gameplay mechanics are inspired by classic top-down shooters. The players’(playing either solo or in cooperation mode) task is to break through maps that are full of foes. Since the protagonists are not bulletproof, the key to success is to devise and apply an adequate strategy instead of mindlessly emptying the clips of their weapons. Reagan Gorbachev is supplemented with stealth sequences, and each level is designed in a way that allows the player(s) to complete it both the old-fashioned way and stealthily.

The key element is, however, to take care of the health of the eponymous tree by helping it grow its branches, summoning animals, planting saplings or fighting pollution. Another large DLC for the 2014's MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online. The Thieves Guild expansion tells a story of the eponymous organization from Abah’s Landing, hunted by a mercenary group known as the Iron Wheel, who are trying to bring down the Thieves Guild in retaliation for a bold, yet tragic heist. The players become new recruits of the Guild and have to help the organization restore its reputation. The DLC introduces numerous innovations and changes, most of which result from taking up the new profession as a thief. There is a whole new desert area, called Hew’s Bane, to explore, new challenges, opponents to defeat, as well as new pieces of equipment that fit the DLC’s theme. Changes were also introduced to the character skill tree, which now offers passive abilities available only to Guild members. An integral part of the DLC is a large update that introduces some fixes and improvements to the original game.

Arcade, Auto-runner, Movies, PS Plus Extra, PS Plus Premium, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, TPP.
A third-person arcade game developed by a Disney Interactive's proprietary studio. The game is based on the famous science-fiction movie franchise, TRON. The action takes place in a virtual world located within a computer system. The protagonist, Kevin Flynn, is a programmer and the main character of the original 1982 movie. The gameplay mechanics were inspired by a popular genre existing on mobile devices - games known as endless runners. However, this game introduces a series of changes required for it to fit into the specifics of regular gaming systems. The individual routes in the game are not infinite or even randomly generated, each has its starting and ending points. The game offers two different types of routes that can be traveled sprinting on foot or sitting on a motorbike. Each of the routes available is filled with different traps and threats that have to be avoided by performing risky stunts. When running, the player also collects different bonuses and fights enemies in occasional combat sequences.

A funny arcade game by Flee Punk which focuses on… farting. In Gassy Mob, we assume the role of a bizarre creature that ate too much and started to fart. The fun boils down to farting on the inhabitants of a remote town, which makes them join the eponymous Gassy Mob. Its only goal is to take revenge for the insult that its members have suffered at our hands so they aren’t very friendly to us. Our task is to stay alive as long and possible and fart on as many people as we can, thanks to which we gain points. The game features simple but incredibly colorful graphics with a funny style that draws attention mainly by adorable, flamboyant creatures.

A digital board game by Nomad Games combining the iconic Warhammer universe with the rules of the popular board game, Talisman. The story is based on the “Horus Heresy” trilogy by Dan Abnett and takes place in 31st millennium, when humanity flourishes under the rule of a gracious Emperor. When he had suddenly withdrawn from the frontlines, and Horus, his favorite son whom he promoted to the rank of Warmaster, objected to his ambitious plans, a great civil war breaks out. In Talisman: The Horus Heresy, the players assume the role of one of 8 playable characters divided into two groups: the loyalists or the traitors and take command of one division of Space Marines. The gameplay mechanics employ the solutions of the Talisman series, although the scale is incomparably bigger because the board spans across the entire galaxy.

Action, Singleplayer, Shooters.
Created for mobile devices spin-off version of the popular Metal Gear series. The action of the game was set in the realities of the console Metal Gear Solid 4, and during the game we play as a character known to fans of the series hero, who thanks to aging gained a new nickname Old Snake. However, the mechanics of the game has been greatly simplified and devoid of stealth elements, and the game itself is a rather static shooting, in which we eliminate the opponents appearing in different parts of the screen, hiding behind the covers.

An extensive browser MMORPG, the action of which takes us to the deserted 700 years ago continent of Myriaden, putting the player in the role of a colonist looking for wealth and fame. The game stands out from other similar titles, focusing on exploration and an extremely complex system of craftsmanship, allowing our hero to become an absolutely unique character. A characteristic element is also the economy co-created by the players, who independently produce items necessary for representatives of other professions.

A refreshed version of the original online game from 2005. The project started its life as a modification to the cult game Half-Life 2. The story of the game was inspired by the novel Death on the Nile written by Agatha Christie. The game takes place on a ship where each of the passengers receives a task to kill a specific person. The objective can be completed in various ways, by using a wide variety of weapons and useful gadgets. Security systems and the necessity to take care of various needs of the character make the task harder. While trying to eliminate their own target, the players cannot forget that they themselves may be a someone else's target. Because of that, one must perform actions that will mislead the opponent – change clothes or hairstyle. The Ship: Remastered doesn’t introduce any changes to the gameplay mechanics except offering improved graphics in HD resolution.

A sequel to a unique adventure RPG by inkle studio, and an adaptation of a popular gamebook by Steve Jackson and John Blanche. The story of Sorcery! 2 continues the tale of its predecessor and takes us to Khare, town of outlaws, where The Festival of Thieves is celebrated. Players have to discover the mysteries of the town, overthrow the council ruling it, and stop an incoming invasion. We can start with a completely new character or import our hero from the first game to explore the world and talk with characters, making decisions that affect the plot. Interestingly, depending on our personal feelings, the town’s inhabitants might not necessarily deserve saving, and their fate is mostly in our hands. The key features of the first Sorcery! are obviously present, including the original character development system and the unusual battle system that chooses the actions available to us depending on our play style.
