When in combat, we make use of melee attacks, complemented by a wide range of weaponry. Everything is depicted using hand-drawn visuals, with a slight cartoonish undertone.

A multiplayer-only first-person shooter/role playing game developed by Frog Factory. The story of Heathen was inspired by The Island of Dr. Moreau, a cult-classic novel by H.G. After the death of its benefactor, the island has been rediscovered by a biologist and an entrepreneur, who had picked up the research in order to create a source of cheap workforce for humanity. After a period of relative peace, the human overlords begin to lose control over the beasts and are forced to defend themselves from the increasingly aggressive creatures. The game is focused around small teams from four up to five players that assume the roles of Beast Folk, exploring the island and taking over new territories according to the Moreau’s Law. During the game, players complete various quests, develop their characters, and modify their equipment, as well as engage in PvP combat or join forces to create guilds.

The game utilizes the GamePad and its touchscreen. You use it to draw rainbow platforms in the clay world, which are then used by Kirby to move around and also avoid obstacles and enemies. There are standard levels and special maps, on which Kirby transforms into various machines and vehicles, such as .e.g. a submarine or a tank. This makes the gameplay more platformer-like, which is evident from boss battles, usually taking place at the end of a given level. The game features nice, very colorful visuals.

Another installment in one of the most popular golf simulation game series by EA Sports, for the first time ever not using Tiger Wood's name in the title. The game's release for the eighth generation consoles resulted in much better visuals, which in turn is a result of utilizing the Frostbite 3 engine (known from e.g. Need For Speed Rivals or the Battlefield series), for the first time used in a sports game. Thanks to this, the game features excellent physics and unprecedented realism. There are several gameplay modes to choose from, from the career mode, through single player rounds, to online multiplayer challenges. Apart from a wide range of real-life-based and fictional golf courses, the game also features locations based on other Electronic Arts games, such as Battlefield 4.

A third person action-RPG created by Elemental-Labs - an independent developer. Reborn is set in an alternative, cyberpunk vision of 2188's Japan. The protagonist is called Musashi Miyamoto, and he is a futuristic equivalent of a ronin. His main enemy are the Nexus Roku corporation and its female CEO who is trying to release an ancient demon. The game world is dark, full of social inequality and rivaling cartels. What is more, the difference between a human being and a machine is getting more and more difficult to judge as cybernetic implants are spreading throughout the world. The story-based campaign comprises a series of linear missions. However, the game offers a character development system based on levels and experience points. This, along with the possibility to use the previously mentioned implants, is what builds the pillar of freedom offered by this game. Inventory-related aspects have their influence on the gameplay as well, for the player gathers equipment dropped by defeated enemies. Although the player encounters many enemies in the game, open combat is not necessarily the only possible solution, for the protagonist can sneak and perform quick retreats - depending on the tactics applied, relationships with NPCs can develop in different directions. The combat itself is very dynamic and the protagonists main weapon is the katana. Reborn offers multiplayer gameplay for up to four players.
