An original 2D logic platformer and an enhanced edition of the 2014’s Metrico for PS Vita. Metrico+ is a fruit of the developers’ fascination with all kinds of infographics, graphs, and statistical tables that became an integral part of our everyday life. The action takes place in a world composed entirely of the aforementioned elements. In the game, we observe various graphs resembling both real and fantasy landscapes. The protagonist will have to overcome things like pie charts, bars, and statistical curves. Most of obstacles we encounter are logic puzzles or diversified arcade challenges. The game features distinctive, minimalistic 2D graphics. Since the puzzles had to be adjusted to the new, completely different controls, the game offers a number of completely new levels and some thoroughly reworked ones.

To do that you have to constantly run forwards, performing a variety of daredevil acrobatics, jumping between several parallel tracks and attacking monsters that appear in your way. This is what makes the game different from other productions in the genre, in which you usually just avoid stationary obstacles, not fight enemies. There are many weapons, armors and magical artifacts to use, and they all affect your character's skills. You can also ride fantastic beasts, such as wolves, fearless horses or dragons. You can also try to complete additional challenges, which earn you extra points. The game features very colorful cartoonish visuals and utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus (also known as Finding Teddy 2) sees us assume control of a new protagonist – a girl named Tarant, whose hobby leads to an unexpected event that allows her to enter the world of video games. Armed with a small sword and a shield, the heroine embarks on a dangerous journey supported by her favorite teddy bear. In opposition to its predecessor, which was a typical point-and-click adventure game, Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus is a two-dimensional action-adventure game with numerous platforming and RPG elements that create a metroidvania-like experience. The player is tasked with exploring complex maze-like levels that contain both action sequences as well as demanding riddles. Each level is filled with additional pick-ups, secrets, all the while offering different types of enemies to fight. When it comes to graphics, the game employs hand-drawn, retro Pixel-Art visuals, similar as its predecessor.

First however, they will have to participate in subsequent battles against powerful fleets belonging to the enemy - during those, the ship's capabilities are what makes the player able to survive through in most unfavorable circumstances. Additionally, the player can upgrade their ship between missions - the vessel has several "skill areas" to be improved. Solar Shifter EX comes with spectacular visuals that make the interstellar battles look epic.

The second installment in the series of marine strategy games developed by Totem Games. After a series of spin-offs, the developers decided to return to the series’ roots, setting the action during the American Civil War. The plot of the game evokes a rather obscure episode of the war, the Battle of Mobile Bay. The authors decided to employ a “what-if” scenario, in which Confederacy has successfully reached out to Austrian government in an attempt to strengthen their navy. The deal went through, and the Union forces are met with a formidable enemy. Ironclads 2: American Civil War uses a similar gameplay model to the one found in the Total War series – turn-based planning on a strategic map with real-time clashes supported by an active pause. The game offers challenges such as hunting ships, hiding in ports while awaiting for supplies, blocking trade routes, and open sea battles. As per series’ tradition, the authors have prepared faithful recreations of the ships of the era, including their technical parameters and armament.

A sandbox game developed by Morgondag, a Spanish studio. The player assumes the role of a lone astronaut who searches for a new home in the unwelcoming interplanetary space. At the core of the gameplay lies exploration of space, gathering new materials and technologies, and devising new parts for eight modifiable ships. The protagonist can also be developed — the experience points we gather while playing can be spent on enhancing skills from the extensive skill tree. The available specializations include exploration, technology, the ability to find and extract raw materials, and typical survival talents. The characteristic feature of RymdResa is its retro visual layer and the original soundtrack composed by Tom Croke and Pat Jacobs. It is also worth noting that the game world is generated procedurally so every playthrough not only offers a different space map but also unique challenges to tackle.

Nubs' Adventure enables us to assume the role of an inconspicuous pixelated being living in a small hut upon the hill. One day, his home is visited by two red monsters that ransack his home and throw him into the abyss. After finding his home in ruins, our protagonist decides to rebuild his cottage with the help of a powerful fairy that offers to help him if he returns a certain amount of diamonds. The gameplay is built around the exploration of a virtual world which often throws numerous riddles at us and sees us face the aforementioned monsters. Our hero traverses the levels by jumping, swimming, or even flying, all the while gathering gems and keys using a special boomerang. Sometimes, our way is crossed by independent characters, offering their support as a reward for helping them out.

As we gather more experience and solve subsequently more difficult puzzles, our character will improve his (or her) skills and gain better equipment. We can also recruit a whole bunch of characters to our team during the game, each with its own secrets and experiences, and in some cases they can even turn against you.

In Siberia, you play as a young lawyer named Kate Walker, who was hired by a toymaking company to finalize formalities regarding a takeover of a factory in a small European town. The story begins when the protagonist arrives in the town and learns that the factory's owner, Anna Voralberg, is dead. To complete her task, Walker has to find Voralberg's heir, Hans. During the search, you visit various locations and solve a range of logic puzzles. The sequel continues the story from the first installment — Kate and Hans search for a land of living mammoths.

At the same time, the developers introduced a myriad of novelties such as enhanced city development, new army abilities, and the possibility of trading resources and slaves. The gameplay takes place on a significantly more detailed map, while the players are given over 25 factions that belong to four main cultures.

To make things even worse, the cataclysm has caused dead bodies to rise from their graves, demons to leave their underground lairs, and living creatures to mutate. The new inhabitants of the planet did not abandon numerous forms of entertainment, including the titular Mutant Football League – a parody of American football. Player’s goal is to win a season comprising 13 matches. When conventional methods fail, one can appeal to some dirty tricks like bribing the referee. Due to the nature of this sport, the matches can be very brutal. One can command the titular mutants, aliens, animated skeletons, battle droids, and football players that came straight from hell. The players can utilize a wide arsenal of weapons (featuring knuckle-dusters, battle-axes, chainsaws, and even grenades) along with numerous special abilities. Among the peculiar features of the game, one can find the system of traps, mines, lava pools and toxic clouds ever-present on the football field. Additionally, the changing weather system affects the game with its acid rains and violent storms.

Since their employees avoid getting their hands dirty, they hire trained mercenary groups to do the dirty work for them, and the players are the commanders. Each crew consists of several warriors of different personalities and skills. The game takes place in an unusual turn-based system in which all participants have only 20 seconds to issue orders and then the actions take effect simultaneously. Thanks to this solution, the key to success is not only the ability to react quickly but also to predict our enemy’s moves. The title is designed primarily for multiplayer gaming but it can be played solo against bots.

Another installment in the popular farming simulator series, also known as Agrar Simulator. The general gameplay mechanics remain the same, while the game is still divided into simulation and economic parts. In the former, we personally engage in various farming activities, such as field reclamation, animal breeding, crop production, planting trees, and harvesting, using a wide variety of agricultural machines. The money we earn is invested into development of our farm, namely: expanding its infrastructure, hiring employees, and purchasing additional equipment. The realistically modeled calendar of farming work as well as occasionally occurring random problems and obstacles play important roles in the game. In addition, the visuals were enhanced, especially since Professional Farmer 2016 is the first installment of the series to be released on consoles.

Our heroes must traverse enchanted forests, visit bizarre kingdoms, fulfill unusual requests from NPCs and sing many songs during campfire nights. There are no arcade elements in the game, so we mainly explore and solve puzzles, while our interactions with NPCs and items play a major role, dynamically shaping the story. What makes Forest of Sleep stand out the most, though, is the lack of typical narration and dialogues, as well as its unique visuals that are reminiscent of children's books.

There are dozens of various objects to build in the game. The game ends the moment when you complete all available challenges. Like other games by Kairosoft, the distinct pixel-art visuals of Fish Pond Park are based on cult classic 8-bit productions.

The gameplay mechanics remain unchanged, focusing on survival and morally difficult decision-making. As the title suggests, the biggest novelty of the expanded edition is the introduction of playable children, who play an incredibly important role in the on-screen events. Initially, the youngest survivors will, for example, build toys or decorate environments, but with time, thanks to their adult guardians, they shall learn many useful skills that can prove invaluable during subsequent missions.

The gameplay of Piloteer is set in various locations, and it focuses on increasingly complex challenges. Although the control system is relatively easy (virtual buttons on each side of the screen control the particular engines), the protagonist himself is quite immobile, which impacts the difficulty — one bad move may end in a crash. The game is pleasant to the eye — the visuals resemble a collage made from colorful paper, and the distinct ragdoll effect adds a bit of humor.

Another installment in the casual series of mobile city-builders developed by Lithuanian company Game Insight. In the game the player assumes the role of a mayor of a small city and is tasked with transforming it into a great metropolis. In order to achieve it, one must construct and upgrade buildings, improve the city infrastructure and satisfy the needs of the citizens while balancing expenses and incomes. Despite the fact that the game doesn’t have a complex economy model, it requires the player to manually modify various aspects of the metropolis, including constantly assigning specialists to specific tasks. Thanks to that – despite the use of a typical free-to-play model – during the game, the player always has something to do. As the title of the game suggests, the greatest novelty in My Country 3D is moving the series into a three-dimensional environment in which one can freely rotate and zoom the camera.

A simplified version of Football Manager 2016 - another installment in the bestselling sports manager games series. It was developed by Sports Interactive with mobile platforms in mind. In the game, we assume the role of a manager of a football club playing league games of one of 50 countries. In comparison with the full-fledged installments of the series, the title lacks a number of business aspects of managing a club, focusing mostly on player selection and setting up match tactics. In addition, the manager's job includes the handling of player transfers and sales of the best players. Compared to its predecessor, Football Manager Touch 2016 is significantly more complex. We can watch every match thanks to implementation of the game engine known from the PC version. Moreover, the game offers a new mode, Create-A-Club, which allows us to form our very own football club from scratch.

To maintain fluid pace and speed, we need to stick with the air currents – they are the ones allowing our group to “spread its wings”. Gathering Sky isn’t a game with clear-cut objectives or sudden plot twists – we are supposed to relax and try to lead our school as best as we can. The game maintains its soothing atmosphere thanks to stylized two-dimensional visuals, and a soundtrack recorded with the help of San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

By clearing the blocks you fill a special meter, which, when full, gives you a useful bonus item, such as a bomb or a rainbow block that clears the whole board. NekoBuro – Cats Block features plot elements, shown as short visual-novel-like cutscenes. The story is very lighthearted and sometimes even absurd, as its protagonists are cubical cats from outer space, trapped on Earth — they're the blocks appearing on the board. As a platformer game, Viking Mushroom offers twenty-five different levels filled with opportunities to jump and climb. The player encounters large numbers of traps, enemies and collectibles as well. The titular mushrooms are significant here, for they were eaten by Scandinavian warriors in order to acquire superhuman powers, according to the tradition. The game recreates such situations, for each of many kind of mushrooms available gives access to a set of useful abilities. The game offers colorful visuals, resembling the Rayman series in this aspect. What deserves special attention is the fact that both the plot and certain gameplay mechanics are rooted deeply in the tradition of Vikings and supported by research conducted on their culture.

A World War II themed mobile strategy game developed by Picneko Creative, a Korean studio focusing on mobile game. Pocket Platoons allows the player to choose either Axis or Allies and participate in the largest military conflict of 20th century. The gameplay foundations do not differ much from what the genre has accustomed us to – we are tasked with base development, training and upgrading units, as well as recruiting officers, who can change the outcome of numerous battles. The game offers a single-player campaign (with over 300 stages and hundreds of missions to complete) and an interesting multiplayer mode, which allows not only for classic one-on-one battles, but also team clashes, with up to 10 players participating at once. Pocket Platoons employs two-dimensional visuals in “super-deformed” style, which portrays soldiers and vehicles in a very cartoonish manner.

A free production from an independent Belgian developer, Thomas Kole, who decided to combine two of his favorite games: the famous shooter Half-Life 2 and the psychedelic shooter Hotline Miami. In the resulting title, Half-Life Miami, we assume the role of a physicist, Gordon Freeman, and are taken to the locations known from the legendary production by Valve where we decimate enemies with the iconic Gravity Gun. The gameplay itself is similar to Hotline Miami in style, though, and the events are observed from a top-down camera. Another highlight of the game is the level editor made available by Kole, which lets us create our own locations. The title also features an interesting soundtrack composed by SUNG.

You play as one of twelve different characters and your main objective is to outdo your competition using your own, unique strategy and different ways to hinder their plans. You can accumulate resources, run in elections, bribes and be bribed, play in casinos, set traps, and frame your opponents so as to exclude them from play for a period of time. Gameplay is influenced by locations, cards you own, and luck.

A 2D point-and-click adventure game inspired by such titles as Dragon’s Lair and the Pajama Sam series. The game was developed by OhNoo Studio (responsible for e.g. Tormentum: Dark Sorrow and Amelia and Terror of the Night) from Poland. You assume the role of a young girl named Tsioque. She is imprisoned in her family’s castle by the Evil Wizard, who cast a powerful spell on it, turning the whole castle into a deadly trap. Tsioque has to escape the fortress and at the same time stop the adversary. TSIOQUE features a deep, dark multi-threaded plot, yet it still full of humor. Adventure elements, such as exploration and puzzle-solving, interweave with arcade sequences. Environment constantly changes and the heroine can interact with almost all characters and environment elements; even so, carelessness is punished with death. TSIOQUE utilizes attractive, hand-drawn graphics and orchestral soundtrack composed by Edward Harrison.

A rhythm-oriented music game for PS Vita developed by Bandai Namco. Similarly to the previous installments of the series, the gameplay is focused around an uncomplicated premise – we have to beat out a rhythm on taiko drums, using a few buttons that correspond with the symbols appearing on the screen. The difficulty level, chosen before starting the game, determines the frequency of their appearance and the type of additional challenges. In relation to the previous installments, Taiko no Tatsujin: V Version has a story campaign in which the player, assuming the role of Don-san, has to defeat Revolution, the ancient dragon. The story is told in the form of cut-scenes, during which the main hero and his companion – Maple – acquire new equipment and useful items. The game is characteristic for its ample library of over 80 licensed Japanese songs and music tracks.

Two of the aforementioned productions are famous mostly thanks to their plot that makes them one of the best-scored installments in the series. Tales of Graces F was initially released in 2010 and was an expanded port of Tales of Graces that debuted year earlier on Nintendo Wii. This title is characterized by its complex and interesting combat system that utilizes the best solutions from all previous entries in the series. In comparison to the original titles, the new games have higher quality graphics.

Gunpowder is a puzzle game set in the Wild West where players have to carefully plan and create an explosion. The game's plot loosely refers to the legend of Robin Hood. A rich businessman called Grimshaw intends to build a railway all the way through a small town, not caring about the fate of its citizens. A lone vigilante Incendio, equipped only with a barrel of gunpowder and his cunning, stands up for them. The game offers 150 diversified levels, each of them being split into 5 chapters. On each of them we will have to arrange and carefully create an explosion that will destroy Grimshaw's wealth and estates. Speeding trains and their carriages, mining carts, cannons, even fireflies, can work as a catalyst for our explosion. It creates many opportunities for the more creative players. The more creative we are, the more points we get. Gunpowder has colorful, cartoonish visuals and is filled with humor.

An arcade flying simulator for mobile devices by a three-man team at RymPow, a side project by employees of the Warsaw-based 11 Bit Studios. We take control of various flying machines, like biplanes, jets or anti-gravity vehicles from the future, and pass tracks with rings located in hard to reach places that we must fly through. There are also many obstacles and enemies that make our task even more difficult. PixWing offers two game modes: Free Roam and classic Time Trial. Developers presented us with good-looking, three-dimensional visuals, built with many pixels and using gyroscope to engage player's entire body.
