A sequel to the unusual adventure game developed by Shiver Games in 2012. Once more the player assumes the role of a six year old boy who is in fact the son of Lucifer himself. The story of the game continues the plot of its predecessor. Lucius, the only survivor of a massacre in his family mansion, is moved to a mental hospital in Ludlow city, where, while initially missing his paranormal abilities, he starts another massacre. In comparison to the first entry in the series, this time the developers from Shiver Games offered much greater, sandbox-like freedom to the players. Lucius has access to a giant, five-floor hospital and an area of the city that surrounds it. The players can freely decide whom and how to kill. There are more than a hundred of potential victims in the game and the player must kill them by using the surroundings and the paranormal powers that Lucius gradually regains.

An FPP logic puzzle game with adventure elements, developed by two independent teams: Bevel Studios and Deco Digital. You play as the eponymous Pneuma, a deity, who observes the beginnings of the universe. Like in the other games in the genre, the gameplay focuses on exploration and solving puzzles, which require good orientation, analytic skills, and unorthodox thinking. In addition, Pneuma: Breath of Life features an internal monologue of the self-congratulatory protagonist. The visuals are high-quality, created with the Unreal Engine 4; the game features beautifully rendered locations with advanced visual effects, such as realistic lighting.

A console port of an independent old school fighting game, Yatagarasu, which became quite a success in 2011 in Japan. Legend of Raven takes us to 25th December 1926, when Japan faces a revolution. The government establishes a secret organization of assassins, who are ordered to restore the order and kill anyone opposing the authorities. For its symbol, the group takes a mythical three-legged raven Yatagarasu. Gameplay wise, Legend of Raven is a classic two-dimensional fighting game, featuring an old school style resembling the first entries in the Street Fighter series. The players can choose from various heroes, each with a unique special attack. Gameplay is fast-paced and uses 4-button control, with addition of upper and lower guard. Visuals consist of well-drawn backgrounds and character sprites. This version also features a new soundtrack and better background, as well as improved multiplayer mode.

We play as somewhat dull-witted caveman named Ungh, who neglected his duty and let the fire of the tribe to die out. To redeem himself, he must find a new source of the precious element and deliver it to his village. He will traverse many various locations during his journey, like a wild jungle, grasslands and even insides of the volcano. There are also many funny characters he meets, whose helps is necessary to progress with the game. The gameplay is enriched by the addition of day and night cycle that affects the gameplay, as some objects can only be used e.g. in the daylight. Fire offers colorful, cartoonish visuals and a lot of humor.

The fourth expansion pack for the 2013’s Europa Universalis IV, which is a part of the popular grand strategy game series by Paradox. Art of War is focused on the events of the Thirty Years' War, in which, apart from the Holy Roman Empire and the Catholic Habsburg dynasty, almost all European countries of the period were involved. The primary novelty of the add-on is the story campaign set in the aforementioned historical period. For its purposes, the combat system, for both land and naval battles, was enhanced. The expansion also improves military recruitment as well as diplomacy by introducing new options of concluding trade agreements and the possibility to declare war because of a vassal. We can also create satellite states and transform them into bastions that protect our country from the enemies. The integral part of the add-on is a large update that introduces a number of changes in the vanilla game’s mechanics.

The 21st expansion for the MMORPG EverQuest by Daybreak Game Company, originally released in 1999, whose popularity hasn't diminished despite the competition and the release of the second installment in the series. The expansion, released for the game's 15th anniversary, adds eight new locations (Arx Mentis, Caverns of Endless Song, Combine Dredge, Tempest Temple, The Lost Castle, and Thyliasaur Island) and new enemies, including dinosaurs. Additionally, the experience cap has been raised to level 105. The developers also added new side quests, as well as equipment, spells, and abilities. A keyring has also been implemented, which partially solves the problem with insufficient inventory space. The expansion utilizes the same technology as the game, released over ten years ago, but its visuals are more detailed.

A prisoner simulator that combines features of many genres. It was developed by Mouldy Toof in cooperation with Team 17 Software. The player assumes the role of a prisoner who leads a “normal” life in one of several available penitentiary facilities. The main objective of the game is to plan a way of escaping from the prison. In addition to participating in a series of daily activities like various works, workouts, meals, walks and interactions with other prisoners, the player is also gathering seemingly useless items, looking for allies and observing his surroundings in order to find weak points of security systems. The final phase is to use the previously prepared plan and escape. The Escapist offers great freedom of acting and many ways of escaping depending on prison style (among which there is for example a military prison camp). The game offers retro pixel-art two-dimensional graphics presented from a top-down perspective.

The second stand-alone expansion for Company of Heroes 2, the game developed in 2013 by the Relic Entertainment studio. As the subtitle of the add-on suggests, in the game we return to the Western Front of World War II during the famous German counter-offensive in the Ardennes. In contrast to the first expansion that focused on multiplayer mode, this time the developers decided to concentrate on the single player campaign. During 18 subsequent missions telling a single, coherent story we take charge of the American units fighting against the forces of Nazi Germany. Game develops dynamically depending on our decisions, and the key to success is to gain experience, plan tactically and wisely manage a very limited supply of people and equipment. Technical aspects of the game remained unchanged, but the developers decided to introduce three new American companies with unique officers.

A refreshed and enhanced version of Space Hulk, a turn-based strategy game created by Full Control, which builds upon a popular board game experience. The game offers 3 campaigns comprising over 100 missions, during which the players get to lead Space Marine Terminators to battle against Tyranid Genestealers. When compared to the original installment, Space Hulk: Ascension features a much more elaborate array of options, allowing the players to command their squad. Moreover, each Terminator at the player’s command can be customized. They also gain experience points, which in turn can be used to develop their skills and attributes. To top it all off, Space Hulk: Ascension delivers us new Genestealer variations, along with previously unavailable weaponry. Warhammer 40K fans are bound to enjoy the visuals implemented herein, as the atmosphere they create brings the players onto the stories from the Warhammer 40K universe.

An online action game, in which the players cooperate to gather resources and build a city terrorized by huge beasts. The game was developed by Japanese studio Q-Games, known e.g. for the Pixel Junk franchise. The Tomorrow Children features a grim vision of the world destroyed in a failed Soviet experiment. The few survivors live harsh lives in the so-called "void", inhabited by hostile creatures. The clone people live in a society divided into classes, based on skewed Marxist ideals. You start out an ordinary proletarian, whose task is to gather materials and resources necessary for their home city to prosper. Like in Minecraft, you use tools to dig underground, cut down trees or dissect the fossilized remains of dead creatures. As a reward, you earn slips of paper, which can be exchanged for new abilities. After some time, you can also build new buildings, get new employees and oversee the development of the city. All the players share the in-game world and can affect it.

Golden Realms introduces a completely new playable race of Halflings with their unique mechanics and units. The developers created a new minicampaign in which the player can help his new subjects in rebuilding their empire and facing the ancient evil. Two single missions that can be played in single-player and multiplayer modes were added as well. In addition to new locations, unit types and unique artifacts, the expansion introduces some changes to gameplay mechanics. Among them there is the mythical city upgrade, new defensive buildings for each race, new victory conditions and additional way to fight other rulers – the imperial tasks.

The game offers cartoonish 3D graphics, with characters designed by a famous mangaka, Akira Toriyama. Thanks to the 8th-generation consoles' capabilities, the developers introduced previously unavailable visual effects and increased the number of opponents visible on the screen simultaneously.

A Squad Based Action RTS, which, according to the developers’ ambitions, is to become the modern version of the legendary 1998 Myth. This inspiration is clearly visible in the spectacular battles set in a dark fantasy world. In the game, the player can become a leader of one of the available factions, such as the Norse Empire, goblins, and ice giants, but doesn't have to develop their base or worry about resources. The army one gets to command can comprise various units – e.g. warriors, rangers, sappers, and medics. The key to success lies in the ability to use this army along with a set of units’ special abilities and the elements of the environment. A collection of games developed by Bandai Namco. The set includes three very popular fighting games – Tekken 6, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Soulcalibur V. The first of these titles continue the story of the Mishima family and the King of Iron First Tournaments. It features forty fighters and enables the players to participate in exciting duels on arenas. Tekken Tag Tournament 2, designed based on the sixth main entry in the series, features the option to participate in fights between two-person teams. The teams consist of fighters selected from a roster of fifty most popular characters from all Tekken games that were released across twenty years of series’ history. Soulcalibur V is an entry in a different series that is as popular as Tekken. Contrary to the Tekken series, in Soulcalibur the warriors are using melee weapons – mostly various types of swords. The main difference in comparison to the previous entries is a set of completely new playable characters, the majority of which are the descendants of well known characters (for example Patroklos and Pyrrha are children of Sophitia).

A third entry in the humorous arcade game series with RPG features, this time created from scratch for PlayStation 4. The story of Fat Princess Adventures takes place in a world, known from previous games in the series, where kingdoms fighting for domination had to join their forces in the face of a new threat - the evil queen and her army of ravenous goblins. We play as a hero belonging to one of 4 classes (mage, archer, engineer, or warrior) and, supported by the eponymous fat princess, take part in battles against antagonist's followers. In comparison to the previous entries in the series, the game drops the online team multiplayer formula for the more classic action RPG gameplay in cooperation mode. In terms of game mechanics, the title is a simplified version of a typical hack-and-slash, and outcome of fights depends both on our skills, equipment, and special abilities, which we improve throughout the game.

A survival horror action game that focuses on cooperation mode for four players. The game was developed by The Innocent Devils. Congo takes place deep in the African jungle where a group of people must face demons that are hunting them. The demons prefer to remain in darkness. Because of that, light generated by flares, flashlights, torches, and electric lamps are the players’ best ally as they temporarily create safe zones. In the game the player isn’t forced to focus only on defense – several weapon types and traps are available as well. However, the game focuses mostly on survival aspects and player must constantly look for new supplies and properly manage his equipment. The action is shown from a top-down perspective, and thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 4 graphics are of high quality.

A modern remake of one of the most controversial games in gaming history. Originally, the title came out in 1997 as a debut production from the developer Running With Scissors. Both the gameplay and the premise were inspired by the phrase “going postal” which means to become uncontrollably angry and violent as a result of working a stressful job. In the game, we assume the role of the Postal Dude who hits the streets with an intent of murdering anyone who happens to stand, walk, or sit in his way. The title offers several various levels, in which the innocent civilians will be slaughtered with a vast arsenal of weapons of different caliber and purpose. The new version is powered by Unreal Engine 4, which translates into incomparably better graphics, prettier locations, and more detailed character models. It also offers a cooperation mode. Despite the changes to the technical side of the game, the developers managed to preserve the specific atmosphere of the original.

An unusual MMO game, focusing completely on relaxing exploration, which you do on your own or with other players. Unlike other games in the genre, Wander features absolutely no rivalry element. The game is set on an alien planet. The protagonist wakes up in the middle of a tropical forest, unable to remember how she got there, and, to her surprise, discovers that she can shapeshift. She embarks on a journey through the mysterious world, trying to learn all its secrets. On her way, she encounters extraordinary geological formations (such as drifting rocks), forgotten ruins, remnants of an advanced civilizations, friendly locals, etc. The protagonist's shapeshifting ability greatly helps in the exploration — you start out as a walking tree, and later unlock the forms of a flying griffin, aquatic azertash, and others. The game's attractive visuals were created with the CryEngine technology; additionally, Wander features an atmospheric soundtrack. The game was developed by an indie Australian studio.

Set in the popular science-fiction universe, a turn-based strategy game employing chess mechanics. The title is one of the first independent productions licensed by Games Workshop. The game is developed by Hammerfall Publishing from Australia. The name refers to the board game described in the Warhammer novels. Gameplay features a modified version of classic chess and offers two game modes. In the classic mode, you choose one of the available races, fight, and gradually unlock new characters and abilities. In the Regicide mode, rules are slightly more complicated – during their turn, players can move, open fire at enemies and environment elements, and use a whole range of psionic powers. Attractive visuals use motion capture technology and feature characteristic elements of the Warhammer stylistics.

A first-person adventure game featuring elements associated with survival horrors. Robert Dawn, the game's protagonist, explores the area of a former pharmaceutical facility located on an abandoned mining settlement, far away from the civilization and dating back to the late 1800s. Apparently, a mysterious incident took place in the lab back then, and the player's goal is to get to the bottom of this. The game focuses on exploration and requires the player to find various documents allowing him to reconstruct the events from the past. Furthermore, the player has to remain vigilant and avoid confrontation with the bizarre creatures inhabiting the place. Furthermore, the protagonist acquires telekinetic abilities as a result of a contact with a substance of unknown origin. This allows him to distract his enemies and solve problems related to exploration of this gloomy environment filled with different traps. Lethe utilizes the popular Unreal Engine 3, providing the game with quite decent visuals.

Another installment in the advanced flight simulation game series, released since 2008 by Russian studio Eagle Dynamics and integrated with the free DCS: World interface. Digital Combat Simulator Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst features the German WWII fighter aircraft Messerschmitt Bf 109 K series model 4. Like the previous games in the series, the title features faithfully rendered details, including the appearance of the aircraft, weapons, engine, communication system and electronics. The authors managed to recreate the characteristic elements of the aircraft, such as the visibility, which is limited due to the engine cover, or the tendency for the wings to drop when the machine touched the ground. The game features the interactive 6-DOF cockpit, typical for the series, in which you can use the mouse to control all the aircraft's systems. The production offers a series of single player missions and a multiplayer mode, in which you join forces with Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 aircraft and fight against the Allied P-51 D Mustangs.
