The plot of Hunters Quest goes in line with its original – a squad of futuristic hunters have to fight beasts inhabiting an alien planet, exept the gameplay mechanics are slightly different. During the missions (there are over 100 of them), the player fights the monsters on maps divided into 56 fields filled with multiple symbols representing attacks and both offensive and defensive actions. The player is tasked with connecting these symbols into groups of three or more. The results of one’s actions can be seen in the 3D preview of the battle. For each victory, the player is awarded a number of experience points that can be spent on developing the hunters and unlocking new abilities for them.

A third-person shooter game based on the free-to-play business model. In Gear Up, the players get to pilot battle machines constructedby themselves and participate in dynamic battles waged across visually diverse arenas. Upon starting the game, one has to create his own machine using a basic, yet broad range of components. The player can decide on the appearance of his machine as well as the weapons, mobility (choosing from wheels, crawler tracks, mechanical limbs, etc.), and bonuses that their mech will be equipped with on the battlefield. As the options are nearly limitless, is it very difficult to encounter an identical machine, which results in fresh, very replayable, and dynamic battles that emphasize the arcade aspects of the game. The players are given three game modes (Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Conquest), which simultaneously can be enjoyed by up to 16 players. As one progresses through the game, they unlock new components and warehouse slots to improve their battle machine. The player is bound to appreciate the 3D cartoonish visuals based on the proprietary Traktor engine.

A 2D roguelike game with logic elements, inspired by the simple, yet perfect Hoplite. In Lamp and Vamp, the player assumes the role of a vampire, who sets off to search for the stronghold of his dreams. The road to success is filled with dangers – on his journey, the main protagonist has to face the villagers, guards, and priests, who all are hostile towards bloodsuckers hanging about their neighborhood. The gameplay is turn-based and is set on small, procedurally generated maps, on which the player has to reach a safe place represented by a coffin. This is not an easy task since, apart from the hostile people, the vampire has to avoid spotlights generated by the lamps some of the adversaries are carrying with them – the light drains the protagonist's vital energy nearly as efficiently as a wooden stake. All the health points the player loses can be regained by biting the necks of victims, which is very risky and requires one to remain hidden. As the game progresses, the player can develop the vampire’s statistics and activate special abilities useful in completing consecutive tasks.

The visuals are simple, colorful and cartoonish, which only underscores the humorous character of the game. Both the characters and the scenery are displayed in 2D.

A minimalist logic puzzle game by Ultrateam, a small studio consisting of just a few members. The game was released for free for web browsers and mobile devices. ULTRAFLOW features very simple gameplay mechanics: you have to put a ball in the hole on the other side of a tiny map. However, although the path is short, it's not quite straight, and the ball can bounce off many obstacles only a given number of times. To find the right way for the ball, you often need to try several times and use creative thinking. There is over a hundred levels to beat, and the difficulty steadily increases; while the starting levels are rather easy to complete, the latter ones can be challenging. Apart from the addictive gameplay, the production features non-distracting minimalist visuals.

The fourth expansion to a first-person survival horror - Alien: Isolation, developed by Creative Assembly. Like the previous expansion to the game (Safe Heaven), the Lost Contact DLC is a variation of the game’s Survivor Mode. However, in this particular DLC, the player returns to the Sebastopol space station and assumes the role of Axel. Gameplay mechanics build on the exploration of a new map, which now includes private Lorenz quarters and the station’s backup power generator area. The mission introduced by Lost Contact is divided into 10 challenges and features significantly higher difficulty level resulting from the fact that this time around the players have to fight off enemy waves of androids, humans and the Alien itself. In comparison the previous Alien: Isolation expansions, Lost Contact significantly stands out - during the mission, players have a lot of ground to cover. Moreover, should one fall in battle, he has to start all over, since he failed to complete the task he was assigned with. What makes it all slightly easier is the ability to construct useful items - this includes some new weapons such as a revolver or a crossbow. For completing this new mission, a player is rewarded with various items and perks.

Crazy and humorous platformer on the license of Adventure Time, a popular TV series broadcasted by Carton Network channel. This time dog Jake and his companion Finn find a sketchbook of Doodle Wizard, which they use to create their own worlds and stories, meaning they can take part in the most incredible adventures they can imagine. At first the title looks like classic platform game, offering well-designed levels, a lot of collectibles and many enemies that try to hinder our progress. However, it quickly turns out that the game’s main feature is its powerful editor, based on the Pixel Press technology. This allows us to transfer objects drawn by hand on a sheet of paper to the game, which is done by scanning with a smartphone or tablet camera, letting the players add anything they want and then place the Adventure Time’s heroes there and live a unique adventure. Additionally, the editor features more traditional options, and the players can share their creations with others.

In Seclusion: Islesbury, one assumes the role of detective Jason Endel, who handles the investigation on a mysterious murder. The game takes place in the titular city of Islesbury, which long ago has fallen into ruin and become deserted due to mass riots. The main protagonist attempts to solve an unclosed investigation from a decade before. However, his stay in Islesbury is unexpectedly turned into a nightmare. The gameplay builds on mechanics that are typical for point-and-click adventure games. A player observes the action from the first-person perspective and gets to explore dark locations both in the city and in the nearby woods. During the game, one is bound to spend a considerable amount of time on solving numerous logic puzzles that require the player to think on his feet and connect facts or combine certain items. As the story develops, Jason discovers the truth from the past. Seclusion: Islesbury has been clearly inspired by the works of the famous horror writer - H.P. Lovecraft. The grim story is well complemented by the dark atmosphere of the locations.

However, the game uses a permadeath system, so the dead members don’t return to our manpower pool. The gameplay takes place in real time, with a team management module, based on a similar mechanic from the X-COM series, as well as base development and equipment management elements. The game is complemented by humorous, but incredibly cohesive and realistic 2D visuals.

They can do it by collecting special, colorful balls. The action is presented from a side perspective and the mechanics of the game are similar to classic, two-dimensional platform games that require the player to avoid various obstacles and jump between platforms. What makes the game more interesting is the mechanic that enables the player to jump between three parallel tracks. Additionally, in order to collect a ball of specific color the player must first transform into a character with corresponding color.

Flick Golf 3D is a special edition of a popular mobile sports game developed for Nintendo 3DS. The game mechanics are almost identical to its mobile version, the only difference being the fact that now they can employ the console’s 3D capabilities. Rules of the game are a slightly simplified version of those from the actual golf matches. We have to use the console's touch screen to sink a perfect hole in one. We also have to take under consideration the wind speed and direction, and obstacles, such as water, sand, or trees. There are three game modes available: you can beat high scores across six courses in Quickshot mode, compete for trophies in World Tour mode, and try yourself in Quickshot Pro. Flick Golf 3D uses both screens of Nintendo 3DS. We can adjust the 3D depth during the game, which makes it easier for us to estimate the ball's position on the course and plan the perfect hit.

Call of Champions was developed by the creators of Arcane Legends, Battle Command, Star Legend, and Arcane Battleground. The game differs from other productions of the genre, mostly because it focuses on quick, five-minutes-long battles. The general mechanics stay the same: two opposing teams have to get through the others' defenses and destroy the enemy's base. The duration of the battles, however, means that the mechanics are simplified. For example, Call of Champions doesn't feature AI opponents or item shops. On the other hand, from the beginning you have access to many characters and powerful abilities and there is no need to work long and hard to unlock them. The game features attractive, slightly cartoonish 3D visuals.

The first expansion to the well-received turn-based strategy game Battle Academy 2: Eastern Front from Slitherine. The expansion pack recreates the eponymous Battle of Kursk, known as the greatest armored battle in world’s history. In the summer of 1943 the Nazi Germany made a desperate attempt at regaining the upper hand on the Eastern Front, throwing in almost all of their advanced combat vehicles. The Russians defending Kursk, however, predicted the enemy’s plan and kept shattering enemy squadrons one by one as they were approaching the city and managed to keep the Germans at bay. In the game you can pick one of the two sides of the conflict, either taking control of German tanks assaulting the city or the Soviet defenders trying to repel the offensive. Individual missions in both campaigns are tied to one another, which means that the loss you take in one battle carries over to the next one. Apart from these additional missions, Battle Academy 2: Battle of Kursk offers new units on both sides of the conflict.

An arcade racing game for {PLAT}. Our objective is to take part in a race and finish it, but the task is made difficult by the nature of courses and obstacles, which are constantly transforming. The background colors are constantly changing, and a different color may mean that, for example, a bridge was removed, or a new platform was spawned. The pace of the gameplay forces the players to stay alert if they want to reach the finish line as a winner. Our avatars can jump, climb, run, as well as harass other participants. Aside from the main course, Runbow also contains a few different modes, including Arena, where the players are pushing each other into the abyss, or ColourMaster, in which one person decides on the action that has to be repeated by other players. Even if the main strength of the game is the ability of multiplayer racing (up to 9 participants), the game offers a single player mode as well. Runbow employs simple, but nice 2D visuals, full of contrasting colors and sharp contours.

The title is filled with pop culture references, including references to books, games and movies. Knights of Pen & Paper 2 introduces many changes and improvements. The list of playable races was expanded with the addition elves and dwarves. There are some new classes as well. The combat, inspired by the d20 system, was improved. In addition, the dungeons layout is now randomly generated. The game features retro-style graphics inspired by cult 16-bit games.

Apart from that, the shaman also performs various rituals, which allow him to overcome obstacles. It's worth noting that on his way he may encounter not only threats, but also things and beings that help him on his journey.

An episodic noir adventure story developed by Prologue Games. The action takes place in Cypress Knee, a small town located in the swampy region of Southern Florida. The story begins with an alleged suicide of a washed-out Hollywood star whose corpse is found hanging from a tower at a local amusement park. However, some of the evidence contradicts the leading theory, while the case is investigated by three individuals: a private detective, a local journalist, and a popular blogger. The game allows the players to control each of the characters. When it comes to mechanics, Knee Deep is a typical point’n’click adventure game, but the authors have decided upon an interesting way of depicting the story – we are watching an interactive play: all events happen on one scene, while individual locations are created from mockups and scenery elements.

As the title suggests, the game focuses on the American Civil War, during which brothers often had to turn against each other when the Confederate States declared war upon the northern states, devastating the United States of America. The action of this game is set at the initial stages of the American Civil War, allowing players to participate in the events such as the First Battle of Bull Run, the Battle of Wilson's Creek (1861), the Battle of Mill Springs and the Battle of Williamsburg (1862). Apart from the large campaigns, the game delivers a number of smaller scenarios, including the hypothetical ones presenting an alternative course of events. Battles take place on huge maps covering the area of 50 square miles, divided into 75-yard hexagons. A single turn corresponds to 24 hours in real time. Brother against Brother: The Drawing of the Sword builds on realism – regiments have their unique skills that made them famous during the Civil War. Alpha Betty Saga is another game developed by King, a studio known for Candy Crush Saga, among others. This time, the developers decided to try their hands at word puzzles. Alpha Betty Saga takes place in a world of mice, in which professor Alpha, Betty, and Barney go on a journey to collect new words to the Encyclopedia of Everything. Our task is to phrase the words from the letters scattered on a small board. The longer the word we create, the more points we get. If we phrase a word from at least five elements, we will get a special letter which will get us additional points when used. There are also various power-ups we can use that will ease the gameplay a little. Additionally, every mouse has a special ability. The developers created over a hundred levels, on which we need to collect the specified number of points within a limited number of moves. Alpha Betty Saga is a free-to-play game with optional microtransactions that shorten the renewal time of the energy needed to continue playing.

An MMO browser strategy game developed by Allodium. The players are taken to an alternative version of Europe consumed by a total war. The post-war continent is led by Global Security Agency, a military-industrial conglomerate that attempts to fight the ensuing chaos through repressions and weapons of mass destruction. The players are left with a faithfully-recreated map of Europe consisting of 15000 cities, assuming control of the individual settlements in order to rebuild them and take part in the conflict by creating alliances and engaging in military operations. The game mixes city-building elements with real-time strategy elements – we are tasked with resource gathering, recruiting military forces, all the while engaging in combat for influence and territory.

Detective Dixie: The Revenge of Wishteria is set in a fantasy steampunk world, the streets of which are populated by both humans and being from legends and fables. When a series of mysterious crimes plagues the eponymous city of Wishteria, young detective Dixie takes action. Although at first the cases seem not to be related to each other, the protagonist soon gathers clues hinting that all the crimes were committed by the same person. During the game, you explore the city, talk to NPCs, collect items and solve puzzles, as well as play logic minigames. There are also interrogation sequences, during which you have to use the previously gathered knowledge to figure out when the suspect is lying and to uncover the truth. Next, you have to convince the police to arrest the culprit. The game features attractive cartoonish 2D graphics.

An open-world action game developed by Ostrich Banditos. The project originated as a free-to-play browser game, and was later expanded to a full-fledged commercial release. The action of the game takes place in the Wild West, with the plot inspired by the elements often found in the Spaghetti Western genre. We assume the role of a veteran gunslinger whose family had been murdered by an unknown assailant. The protagonist embarks on a journey to find and kill the culprit. The players are free to travel a large world, search for clues or information, or to interrogate encountered characters. These actions allow us to cross out some of the suspects, finally leading the player to the real murderer, whose identity changes with each new playthrough. Our decisions have a certain influence on the world, and some of them can lead to very serious repercussions. The action is seen from an isometric perspective, while the game itself maintains an old-school, pixel-heavy feel.

In the beginning of the game, you create your own club, and help it win the championship through a series of victories. Matches are played out in turn-based system, in which you give commands to your players, a formula quite unusual for this genre. In each turn you can execute up to 3 actions, and every action takes a number of movement points. Despite its innovativeness, Football Tactics features typical management options as well, requiring you to take care of the club’s budget, personnel, and infrastructure, as well as player recruitment and training. As Football Tactics is an unlicensed product, it features only fictional clubs and players.
