Another title from Ganbarion studio, set in the universe created for the One Piece manga. This time Monkey D. Luffy and his crew land on Forgotten Island, ruled by extremely ambitious pirate called Red. Due to certain circumstances the heroes have no choice, but to make their base in Trans Town and defeat Red and his followers. Gameplay-wise One Piece: Unlimited World Red resembles the Monster Hunter series. We have nine Strawhats' members at our disposal, each with unique skills and fighting style. The game uses third-person perspective and focuses on performing missions (which come down to exploration and fighting enemies) and develop Trans Town by erecting new structures, e.g. shops or a museum. These will let us acquire new equipment, tasks to complete and non-playable characters to talk with. All of this can be experienced as a single player title or with up to three other players that will accompany us we hunt monsters and defeat dangerous pirates.

An online free-to-play shooter created by Korean developer called NS Studio. Black Squad throws the players right into the center of a fictional conflict between an international crime organization and a special anti-terrorist unit under UN control. We can choose from various fire arms, knives and gadgets. The fights are viewed from first-person perspective and they take place on various maps, such as industrial district, castle ruins or streets of a modern city. The gameplay in Black Squad is based on team play and the game offers a few modes in which we have to complete objectives – from a simple elimination, VIP assassination to destroying an enemy base. Depending on which mode we chose, we can act in teams consisting of five, eight, ten and even sixteen members.

An online first-person shooter developed by Skydance Interactive - PWND is inspired by the early representatives of the FPS genre. The game allows the players to participate in multiplayer battles on diverse arenas. Unlike other FPS games, in PWND killing an enemy is not enough to acquire points - additionally, the player has to humiliate his foe by performing a dance over the body of the fallen adversary. The difficulty lies in the fact that when performing this dance, the player is vulnerable to an attack. PWND introduces several characters, each one featuring a unique arsenal of weapons and special attacks. For example, Hank "The Humiliator" Harris shoots volleys of bullets and can significantly increase his speed, while Rise "The Punisher" Ito uses automatic sentinel towers and bombs that can be attached to the objects in the environment. The primary item of one's equipment is the rocket launcher with different alternative fire modes for each character. Additionally, the player can use the rocket launcher for the so-called "rocket jumps". PWND features comic-book-like and cartoonish visuals.

A twin-stick shooter, created by an indie studio called Fermenter Games, inspired by cartoons from 1990s. The story, with a touch of specific humor, plays in Neighborhorde a secondary role. During the game we play as anthropomorphic animals. Their mothers aren't happy with the fact that their children spend too much time on video games. After being forced to go outside, the children have to face robots, sorcerers, zombies and even dragons who got here by a recently opened portal. What is important is that the children have to defeat them before dusk, because when that happens, they will have to go back home for their bedtime story. The action is presented from a top-down perspective and the gameplay is focused on eliminating hordes of enemies by using more than 40 types of weapons and battle skills. Both our heroes and enemies become gradually stronger and the key to success is to cooperate with other team members.

Puzzle, 3D Image, Singleplayer, Nintendo Exclusive.
Another installment in a series of logic games; it was created specifically for Nintendo 3DS. The player's goal here is to paint appropriate cubes in such a way so that models hidden inside of them can be revealed. The game was based on the rules of a puzzle created by Non Ishida - a Japanese graphics designer. Although the gameplay resembles Minesweeper for PC, the environments are three-dimensional. Blocks can be rotated freely and digits that are visible on particular cubes (the blocks are made of those) inform the player about the number of neighboring cubes they should paint with a given color. If cubes get painted in the correct color, they disappear, revealing a fragment of the model hidden inside the block. Managing to color the entire block of cubes correctly results in the entire model being revealed to the player, which can represent characters created by Nintendo for example. In Picross 3D Round 2, two new colors were added, as well as more complex models hidden in particular puzzles. The game supports the Amiibo protocol, thus the player can digitalize the figurines they own.

A 3D fighting game in the vein of Power Stone that is a debut project of the French studio Piranaking. Lastfight is based on a popular comic LASTMAN. In contrast to classic beat‘em ups in which the characters move on two-dimensional stages, Lastfight introduces small 3D arenas. This way, the player can try to get their opponent from behind, or use the elements of the environment – for example, hitting an enemy with an armchair. The combat system is clearly arcade and requires some manual skills to master the combo sequences. In all, the players can choose from a set of ten fighters. Lastfight offers three main gameplay modes: story campaign, and one-on-one or two-on-two duels. Aside from that, a few extra modes have been prepared, including Free for All, where everybody clashes with everybody, Endless, in which the objective is survival with only one health bar, and Pinball, consisting of throwing balls at our enemy. Lastfight employs a lowbrow, comic book-like visual style.

A city builder strategy game with shooter elements, developed for Android and iOS devices. It was developed by On5, the creators of, among other titles, RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile, in cooperation with Atari. The mobile Lunar Battle is a modern interpretation of an Atari’s game of the same title that was released for arcade machines in 1982. This time around, it is an interesting combination of a strategy production and a shooter. The player’s task is to build a human colony in space and defend it from alien invaders. To do so, we gather resources, erect new buildings, and satisfy the population’s needs, controlling our budget in the process. A large amount of our funds has to be spent on armaments, including weapons for workers and spaceships. The latter we can control directly. In combat against aliens, the gameplay resembles classical shooters from arcade machines in which we control a ship and shoot incoming enemies. It is also possible to fight PvP battles on special arenas.

An unusual turn-based horror strategy game developed by Kitfox Games. The action of The Shrouded Isle takes place in a remote town on an island that is cut off from the world. We assume the role of its mayor, and our task is to ensure the local population’s prosperity. The problem is that the town was built upon the resting place of some ancient gods’ that, if unsatisfied, can awaken and devour everything in their way. The primary responsibilities of the player are similar to those from classical economy simulation games. While playing, we have to balance the four essential town development factors. The gameplay is turn-based, though, corresponding to subsequent seasons. In each of them, we have to assign tasks to the townsfolk and to sacrifice one town resident in order to postpone the awakening of the gods. The game features unusual stylized 2D graphics that resort mainly to shades of yellow and green.

A real time strategy game from Gameloft studio, set in post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been decimated by a plague that turns infected into blood-thirsty zombies. We take control of group of survivors trying to not only survive for a few more days, but also to discover the truth behind the mysterious illness. Zombie Anarchy is based on two pillars. The first one is managing our base, which acts as both shelter and storage for necessary resources. Simulation, Indie Games, Singleplayer, Ships.
Another simulation published by PlayWay and developed by an independent studio FragOut. The production gives you a chance to take control over three ships – a container ship, a deepwater construction vessel, and a semi-submarine transport vessel. The action takes place on waters of Baltic Sea where you will carry out rescue missions, retrieve objects sunken in the depths of the sea, mount installations, and take transport cruises. Ships 2017 requires paying scrupulous attention to complex parameters which describe how particular elements of the vessel work. The implemented renovation system can be used to repair damage which ships gradually take. Moreover, the title enables you to assume the role of a particular crew member and partake in extinguishing fires or even defending against pirate attacks. The title features decent, 3D visuals with realistic water effects.

A horror with logical game elements, created by Chinese studio TianShe Media. The player assumes the role of a housemaid, who decides to solve the mystery behind the mysterious disappearance of the Victorian residence’s inhabitants. The gameplay in Weeping Doll is presented from a first person perspective, and focuses on exploration, searching for story clues and keys, and finally solving various riddles which involve object manipulation. The title was created with virtual reality goggles in mind – we have the ability to look around the environment using head movements, while movement was realized in form of teleportation between spots, controlled by analog stick. The game employs Unreal Engine 4 technology, which is a base for high-quality visuals. The graphics received an interesting touch through using a special filter that builds the characteristic, horror-esque vibe.

A free-to-play, mobile real-time battle game that uses microtransactions. The player is taken to a fantasy world, which was plunged into a crippling conflict. The player can assume the roles of both a prideful queen and a knight that fights to defend her. The player's goals are to expand their kingdom, research technologies, enlarge the army and send the troops to battle. Apart from regular soldiers, the player can recruit battle mages, powerful dragons and other creatures. Battles take place in real time here and hundreds of units can take part in those. Furthermore, the player has to defend their castle by placing archers on the walls, as well as positioning both infantry and cavalry within the stronghold. The game can be played solo, but making alliances with others or competing against them is also an option. For a mobile game, Clash of Queens: Dragons Rise offers exceptionally well-made visuals. What also deserves acclaim is the polished in-game environment, as well as high level of visual details.
