Marvel Mighty Heroes is a mobile tactical action game based in the Marvel comic book universe. It was developed by the Japanese studio DeNA, creators of games like Transformers: Battle Tactics, Transformers: Age of Extinction, or Star Wars: Galactic Defense. We play as the well-known superheroes from the comic books, like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Daredevil, Captain America, Hulk, or Thor. Our job is to save the planet from a mechanical army. Each character has their own unique attacks and skills we use in battle. Gameplay is presented from an isometric perspective and focuses on fighting with hordes of enemies. Marvel Mighty Heroes offers a coop multiplayer for up to four players. Together, they embark on dangerous missions. As we get experience, we can level up our character's abilities and unlock new ones. The game features cartoonish 3D visuals.

Hero Sky: Guild Epics is set in a fantasy version of the Middle Ages, blending Greek and Roman myths with other belief systems. The gameplay is quite typical for the genre and your task is to develop your village and ensure its safety in the face of a possible invasion. There are two main aspects of the gameplay. The first one is managing your village by gathering resources, developing technologies, and building economic and defensive structures. At the same time you have to train your army, which ensures the village's safety and allows you to invade other players' villages. You have no control over your units in battle, which remains interactive only thanks to heroes with various strategic abilities.

Set in an open-world, a space survival simulation developed by a small, debuting studio, Fugitive Games. The action takes place in the distant future in which humans are forced to evacuate from the Earth after it is overrun by invaders. Those who survived found shelter in Ark 13 – the last spaceship left – and travel through the universe in search of a new home. As the captain of the vessel you must recruit crew, upgrade the ship, gather necessary resources, and establish diplomatic relations with alien races. However, they are not always friendly, so you have to be prepared to fight. For the most part you observe the action from the third-person perspective, but sometimes you are given a view from the bridge, from which you control the spaceship and give orders to the crew.

It soon turns out that the only piece of software able to stop him is the game’s protagonist – a small white man, known as The Chosen One. Equipped only with his Magic Hat he sets out on a journey across various regions in order to put an end to the tyrant’s rule. The classic platforming gameplay is enriched by the aforementioned hat – the hero can drop it wherever he wants and then teleport himself to the hat’s location. This mechanic allows him to reach inaccessible places and solve many puzzles. Although A Pixel Story does not feature any opponents to battle, each level is filled with various traps and death can come at any time. Another interesting innovation is the artwork. You start the adventure in a pixellated 8-bit reality, but as you progress the world becomes more and more detailed.

A turn-based strategy game created by the indie developer Nine Tales Digital. The game combines the universes known from two games - Desert Ashes and Pocket God. The gameplay is divided into two segments. The first one allows you to overlook a map of the fantasy world and move your units on it. When you encounter an enemy you are moved to a battlefield where you lead your men to battle in which each of the sides uses their abilities alternately. Because each of the units has their unique abilities and statistics the key to success lies in choosing your heroes wisely. The tasks, that the developers of Pocket God vs. Desert Ashes give us, are based on both eliminating all enemies and capturing special strongholds. Each of the campaigns offers a different balance of power and a map – it should be mentioned that maps also change because of the day and night cycle. The game can be played in a single player mode as well as together with friends; you can also play campaign scenarios in co-op mode. In the multiplayer mode one player commands the defenders and the second one leads the invaders. The game has simple yet very original visuals.

Aside from classic racing, taking place on twelve diverse tracks, Gotcha Racing offers a number of challenges focusing on particulars elements. For example, we are tasked with overtaking a certain number of vehicles, or to lead a race for a set amount of time. Victories net us virtual currency, which can be spent on modifications. A retro-futuristic platformer game by Cococucumber, an independent Canadian studio. In Planet of the Eyes, we assume the role of a robot who crash-lands on a completely alien planet after the malfunction of an interstellar shuttle. Trying to find a way out of the situation, the protagonist explores the beautiful but also incredibly dangerous place where a myriad of logic puzzles and complicated traps await him. Mechanics-wise, the game somewhat resembles the cult Limbo. While playing, we move mostly to the right and face challenges created by the developers. Sooner or later we will witness various variants of the hero’s death, but the production was designed is a way that doesn’t frustrate players and can be completed in 2-5 hours (depending on our skills).

Puzzle, Polish, Singleplayer, Isometric View.

A mobile puzzle game by Polish studio LabLike. Magic Flute by Mozart has been inspired by a Tokyo staging of the titular opera, directed by Amon Miyamoto and with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Gameplay gives us many puzzle challenges, which will help the main hero of the opera in leaving the stage. To achieve this, special paths have to be created from movable tiles. More often than not requiring serious intellectual investment to create a correct path while avoiding obstacles, like flying snakes or patrolling guards. It is noteworthy that levels have been designed to have more than one solution, meaning that it might be a good idea to replay finished levels and try out a different approach. Magic Flute by Mozart presents us with charming, three-dimensional and isometric visuals, as well as with high-quality cutscenes with professional British actors voicing characters.

The sequel to the popular MMORPG for mobile devices. It was developed by Gameloft and takes us once more to the fantasy land of Haradon, which was destroyed by a cataclysm caused by the destruction of an ancient artifact called the Primal Heart. Six hundred years have passed since this dramatic event, and the civilizations have managed to partially recover; the players assume the role of heroes who start to gradually come to the land. Starting out in Order & Chaos 2: Redemption, we create our own character by choosing one of the different races and specializations. The title is characterized by high-quality three dimensional graphics that presents the action from the third-person perspective. The game is based on exploration, performing various quests and side missions, developing the protagonist, and fighting opponents. Battles are fought in real time. Apart from the standard PvE, the production features a PvP module that lets us fight other players.

A minimalistic logic game developed by the independent studio Polyculture, led by Joel McDonald. Gameplay comes down to trimming a tree branch and shaping it so that it can reach the sunniest spot. To make matters more difficult, you will come across a number of obstacles and dangers, so your priority is the plant’s safety, not its high growth rate. 2D visuals of Prune are kept in a neat, minimalistic style accompanied by calm, ambient music. The title features simple, intuitive controls.
