A two-dimensional platformer with logic game elements and the debut project from the independent developer Colorspace Studio. In the Shadows has us assume the role of a person who embarks on an emotional journey to the times of childhood where they have to face their fears, symbolized by various monsters. The gameplay mechanics combine arcade elements with logic puzzles that use light as their primary element. At night, all everyday objects turn into dangerous creatures but if we shed some light on them, they switch back to their original aspect and often help us in our unusual adventure. The problem is that the protagonist doesn’t have a flashlight so the key to success is to find ways to lure our opponents into the vicinity of lamps as well as to cunningly manipulate other luminous objects in the environment. The game features a classic side view and pixel-art graphics.

An arcade soccer game inspired by the classic Sensible Soccer series. The game was developed by an Italian studio The Fox Software, which specializes in this genre - it is popular mainly for such games as Ico Soccer for Nintendo DS or Throw In for PCs; the latter being a remake of the classic title Kick Off 2. The game focuses on delivering an arcade experience and is played from a classic aerial view. The player does not have to get accustomed to using many buttons. The game offers over 800 national and league teams from all over the world, giving an opportunity to play different kinds of matches. Unfortunately, Active Soccer 2 does not use official licenses, but the creators included a simple team editor, so the player does not have to use the default club and footballer names. One can play friendly matches, as well as both league and cup games, apart from taking part in the career mode, which is complemented by a simplistic management module, requiring the player to develop adequate tactics, supervise transfers and take care of funding-related issues. Active Soccer 2 also offers a cross-platform online mode.

Contrary to the majority of minimalistic logic games, Knot offers alluring, three-dimensional visuals that allow the player to rotate the entire structure at any angle. Also, it is worth mentioning that the game engine recreates physical properties of the materials the particular elements of the mechanism are made of.

A remarkable logic game created by Gentlymad - a German developer. In Between is rather serious when it comes to atmosphere, because it focuses on death and coming to terms with the inevitability of fate. The player assumes the role of a male who is over 30 years old and is losing his fight against cancer. According to the doctors, he has no more than several weeks remaining. Facing death, the protagonist attempts to bring his life to account - as the player, one is supposed to help him in achieving this goal. In terms of the mechanics, it is a typical logic game requiring the player to make his way through a series of levels filled with traps and puzzles. Puzzle solving is based on manipulating objects in the player's environments and playing with the in-game gravity. Simultaneously, each of the levels represents a metaphorical take on the experiences and emotions that lay within the protagonist, and references various important events from his life. In Between is divided into chapters symbolizing five stages of coming to terms with death, as described by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross - an American psychiatrist.

Exploring a fantasy land, avoiding countless traps, jumping across platforms and solving puzzles requiring the player to manipulate letters and create new words - these activities constitute the pillar of the game's mechanics. Creating words from letters is the key feature of the game, and this is how the player deactivates various traps and gains access to new locations. For instance, in order to open a gate, the player has to assemble the word "OPEN" from the four words given. Furthermore, the player often encounters various enemies capable of tearing the protagonist into shreds. Combat in this game requires us to create antonyms of words. An unusual narrative/adventure game developed by [bracket] games and Digerati Distribution. Three Fourths Home tells the story of a young woman named Kelly who is currently on her way to her family home in Nebraska after a years’ absence. We accompany the woman during conversations with her parents and her younger brother, learning more about the complicated relationship she has with them. The game cannot be easily assigned a genre, as we are given a mix of an adventure game and a visual novel. The gameplay is practically non-existent – our only task is to hold the button responsible for the gas pedal and conduct dialogues that allow us to learn more about the story, drawing us closer to the ultimate conclusion.

Another installment in the popular casual series created by King.com. It is a direct sequel to Farm Heroes Saga that was released in 2013. This time the player is tasked with stopping the evil Rancid who obtained the supercropsies and uses them to achieve his villainous goals. The story of the game is just an excuse for the actual gameplay which in Farm Heroes Super Saga is based on the rules of the match-3 genre. It is a light logic game in which the gameplay focuses on moving colorful vegetables and fruits in order to combine them into vertical and horizontal lines consisting of at least three similar pieces. This removes them from the map and gives points to the player. It also allows for completion of various side missions. From time to time the player will face a challenging boss as well. Various power-ups make the game more interesting. They make it easier to complete levels and obtain more and more points.

Trials on Tatooine is set in the universe of Star Wars. It's a free, experimental action game developed with Virtual Reality sets in mind. It was created by ILMxLAB, which consists of some members of the legendary studio, Industrial Light & Magic, which worked on CGI for over three hundred movies. The story of the game is set in between the 6th and 7th episode of the Star Wars saga. The protagonist is a Padawan of Luke Skywalker, whose task is to help Luke in restoring the Jedi Order. Trials of Tatooine can't really be called a full-fledged action game - it was developed simply to exhibit the capabilities of VR sets. The player's goals in the game are simple; it can be repairing the Millenium Falcon, or deflecting projectiles with a Lightsaber. Apart from action sequences, the game also shows some old and well-known characters such as R2D2, 3CPO, or Boba Fett.

A sequel to a humorous real-time strategy, Mushroom Wars, that came out in 2009 for PC and mobile platforms. The action of Mushroom Wars 2 takes us to a fantasy universe where four factions of small creatures that live in mushroom-like homes constantly war with each other. The player’s task, as the general of a “mushroom” army, is to eliminate the enemy as quickly as possible by taking over strategic points on the map. There are four different races to choose from, all supported by heroes with unique special abilities. As befits a real-time strategy game, we have to build a village, recruit an army, enhance our weapons, and take over enemy buildings. Battles are very fast-paced and usually last no longer than 5-10 minutes. The title offers four single player campaigns, a skirmish mode, and a multiplayer mode that supports e-sport features. Mushroom Wars 2 features graphics that are similar, although more detailed, to its predecessors.

A children-friendly sandbox and a debut of Lightbulb Games, a studio established by former employees of Press Play. The players enter a vast world inspired by desert areas of Colorado in a quest to choose the greatest explorer alive. The game sees us explore the vast depths of the available world and engage in various activities, from discovering oasis, through scaling mountains, up to taking part in wild racing. The means of transport are created from scratch using a set of tools and ready-made elements. The used vehicle can be modified and upgraded to suit the needs at hand, as well as repaired after wearisome journeys. The game offers both single and multiplayer modes, but as could be expected, the online features are especially interesting, offering multiplayer racing or joint exploration. Trailmakers is characteristic for its detailed visuals, mixing post-apocalyptic environments with pastel colors and friendly atmosphere.

A 2D platform game by French studio Upper Byte, focusing on a co-op mode. The plot if centered on the villainous machinations of Dr. Nylus, who's trying to take over the world. The players take on the roles of the heroes trying to stop Nylus and his mindless servants, and face the many traps set by the antagonists. Mechanics-wise, the game is a classic platformer, in which you have to beat consecutive levels, fight your foes and solve logic puzzles of varied difficulty. During the game, you control three characters, each of them having their own set of abilities, which you have to use properly if you want to succeed. HeartZ: Co-Hope puzzles works best in the co-op mode for three players, but you can also play on your own, switching the characters if need be.

A two-dimensional platform game heavily inspired by the metroidvania genre. In Rabi-Ribi the player assumes the role of Erina – a bunny turned into a woman due to a curse. The female protagonist is accompanied by Ribbon, a winged pink-haired fairy. The tale about how the main characters are trying to break the spell is presented mostly by visual-novel-style dialogues. The gameplay of Rabi-Ribi is focused on exploration of various areas, character progression and fighting the enemies. In addition to the regular enemies, the player will encounter bosses, defeating which requires finding a good tactic, focus and good reflex. The boss fights take the form of a bullet hell shooter, forcing the player to avoid numerous missiles and laser beams coming in his way. During the game the protagonist gains new abilities and pieces of equipment thanks to which she can be more effective in combat and gain access to previously unavailable locations. The action is shown from the side perspective like in classic, two-dimensional platform games. The graphics employ manga-style visuals.
