A digital board game by Nomad Games combining the iconic Warhammer universe with the rules of the popular board game, Talisman. The story is based on the “Horus Heresy” trilogy by Dan Abnett and takes place in 31st millennium, when humanity flourishes under the rule of a gracious Emperor. When he had suddenly withdrawn from the frontlines, and Horus, his favorite son whom he promoted to the rank of Warmaster, objected to his ambitious plans, a great civil war breaks out. In Talisman: The Horus Heresy, the players assume the role of one of 8 playable characters divided into two groups: the loyalists or the traitors and take command of one division of Space Marines. The gameplay mechanics employ the solutions of the Talisman series, although the scale is incomparably bigger because the board spans across the entire galaxy.

An old-school two-dimensional platformer with elements of stealth. It was created by Hopoo Games, a studio known for Risk of Rain. In the game, the player becomes an embodiment of death itself, coming to Earth to stop an undead invasion. Both the sides of the conflict are a bit unusual, because the Grim Reaper uses knives and firearms instead of a scythe, and as for the undead, they are overly watchful and intelligent - they can even wield pistols and rifles. Deadbolt puts large emphasis on stealth-action gameplay. The protagonist usually dies from a single hit, which forces the players to stay hidden and attack by surprise. This does not mean the game lacks dynamism, because it features a cover system that allows for a fairly effective exchange of fire. Therefore, each of the levels in the game can be completed in multiple ways, depending on the player's preferences.

The eleventh expansion for the 2012’s Crusader Kings II, a game by Paradox Interactive. Conclave significantly expands and strengthens the role of vassals in the game, allowing the council that governs our realm to gain some actual influence over our actions. All of our direct subjects will demand to be respected and heard; if disregarded, they might begin to plot against the king, so, in order to reduce the risk of a civil war, we will have to keep the councilors satisfied. The council might vote on various law changes in the kingdom, while the king may try to limit its influence, which is a perfect opportunity for all kinds of intrigue. Crusader Kings II: Conclave also offers a remade guardianship system, modified diplomacy, and combat enhancements (including the increased importance of morale).

The fourth (and, according to its creators, final) entry in the warmly-welcomed adventure RPG series from inkle based on Sorcery!, a popular gamebook from 1983. Like the three previous titles, Sorcery! 4 offers a completely new story, so knowledge of the earlier games isn’t necessary to play. Once again, we can create a completely new character or import our old hero from the previous parts of the series. The gameplay of Sorcery! 4 employs the usual mechanics of the series, focusing on exploration and reading to get to know characters and the surrounding world. The story, however, develops non-linearly and is shaped by the numerous decisions the player had taken throughout the game. The game is complemented by the trademarks of the series: the character progression system and unique arcade combat.

A simplistic RTS developed by Flaregames. It is a mobile spin-off to a series of tower defense games created by Subatomic Studios. The game is set in the world known from the previous installments and the player fights servants of a crazy scientist known as Dr. Catastrophe during an extensive story-based campaign. The mechanics combine elements of classic real-time strategy games with some aspects of casual titles for mobile devices, such as Clash of Clans. On one hand, the player is involved in managing their base, gathering resources, constructing new buildings and conducting research on technological improvements. On the other hand, the player trains an army, taking part in subsequent skirmishes against the enemies. During the battles, the player gives orders concerning movement and attack-related options freely, making the game resemble classic real-time strategies in this aspect. The enemy does not remain passive, for they try applying different tactics to make it more difficult for the player to achieve victory.

An unusual mix of an arcade shooter and a turn-based roguelike from independent studio OrangePixel. The story takes place in the year 2476, as a distress call from one of the lunar colonies reaches the Earth. A special group of soldiers is sent to investigate the circumstances surrounding the signal. The game mechanics are somewhat similar to what we have seen in Nuclear Throne. With each try, we play as one of the members of the investigation team, who must reach the base and establish the truth. On our way, we will face a variety of monsters, with fights using a classic turn-based system. Our task is made more difficult by the fact that every death forces us to restart the game from the beginning, and all locations are randomly generated, making it impossible to master the maps one by one. The game employs a characteristic pixel art style that references old-school productions.

One player assumes the role of a person who needs to defuse a bomb, while other players have to tell him how to do it. The ticking clock and the fact that each bomb is generated randomly make the title even more difficult. The person tasked with defusing has to supply the other players with detailed information which will enable them to identify the type of the bomb they are currently dealing with. Due to the nature of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, you will need only one copy of the game and the bomb defusal manual, which can be found at http://www.bombmanual.com/, to play with friends. The title features simple and transparent graphics as well as optional support of VR devices, which are, however, not required to play the game.

An action-puzzle game inspired by the annual “Earth Hour” event organized by WWF foundation. The game was developed by the Russian studio Brainy. It shows how much the modern world depends on electricity. When an accident in the power plant causes the whole city to run out of electricity, the player assumes the role of the last “living” spark and is tasked with restoring the power and allowing the inhabitants of the city to function normally. The gameplay mechanics in TurnOn are similar as in typical platformer games. The difference lies in the fact that instead between the platforms, the player must jump between electric wires. By jumping from one wire to another, the player tries to restore the power to houses, shops, and various electric devices. The devices are connected to each other with a tightly tangled network of connections. Because of that, in addition to having high agility, the game also forces the player to think. The game contains bonus levels as well. During them the player must move through the electric wires according to the tune of the background music.

The entire action takes place in a small, open world, where a large number of side cases await for solving, apart from the main storyline the game presents the player with. When it comes to the mechanics, Antioch makes references to classic gamebooks - for the most part, the player is engaged in reading, which is accompanied by numerous graphics and animations displayed. However, the game stands out with its focus on cooperation between two players assuming the roles of the detectives mentioned above. Their mutual interactions, decisions made and teamwork during interrogations all shape the course of the story and affect the final results of the investigation.

A surrealistic arcade game from the Polish Evil Indie Games studio, set in an alternate version of the year 1994. It shows a grim, retrofuturistic vision of future, as imagined in the 70’s. In the age of a totalitarian regime that tries to break all opposition, we play as an ordinary clerk, who is given the task of delivering a message to someone known as the Ice Queen. Gameplay-wise, No Thing is a rather classic arcade game from the endless runner genre, where we observe world from the perspective of our hero, who automatically runs through narrow, floating paths. We must turn at correct moments to remain on the track and avoid colliding with obstacles. Game offers a campaign (with a very twisted plot) mode or an endless mode, the latter with a never-ending path and us trying to go as far as possible.

The game is a continuation to a challenging, though not very complex logic title developed by the independent studio 2SD. The player's goal is to lead an adequate amount of liquid to a test-tube, which is usually located in a place difficult to access. Platforms and walls the player draws are often insufficient to pour the liquid into the tube. In order to effectively complete this apparently simple task, the player needs to take advantage of interactive objects located on the map, such as spinning circles, gusts of wind or portals. At first glance, they seem to be no more than obstacles, but using them with creativity makes it easier for the player to achieve their goal. Over the course of 27 maps, the player will encounter other mechanics as well - for instance, liquids with different colors have to be mixed - such conditions diversify the experience and make it more challenging. The gameplay is complemented by a well-designed level editor.

Arcade, Auto-runner, Movies, PS Plus Extra, PS Plus Premium, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, TPP.
A third-person arcade game developed by a Disney Interactive's proprietary studio. The game is based on the famous science-fiction movie franchise, TRON. The action takes place in a virtual world located within a computer system. The protagonist, Kevin Flynn, is a programmer and the main character of the original 1982 movie. The gameplay mechanics were inspired by a popular genre existing on mobile devices - games known as endless runners. However, this game introduces a series of changes required for it to fit into the specifics of regular gaming systems. The individual routes in the game are not infinite or even randomly generated, each has its starting and ending points. The game offers two different types of routes that can be traveled sprinting on foot or sitting on a motorbike. Each of the routes available is filled with different traps and threats that have to be avoided by performing risky stunts. When running, the player also collects different bonuses and fights enemies in occasional combat sequences.

Arcade, Puzzle Elements, LAN, Multiplayer, Splitscreen, Singleplayer.
Another installment in the popular logic puzzle/arcade game by Finnish studio Rovio. Angry Birds Evolution doesn't feature a complex story campaign: the game is set on a bird island, where the pigs arrive, and your task is to drive them off. The gameplay consists of battles between the two hostile teams. After launching your characters in a way that is distinct for the series, they roll on the floor, eliminating enemies and bouncing off everything in their way. While the basics of the gameplay seem easy, matters are complicated by the design of the levels, which are small and full of obstacles and various interactive elements, e.g. exploding crates. The gameplay is varied thanks to special abilities, which give every bird three unique attacks each. It provides a motivation for unlocking more characters — the game features over 300 of them, and each of them can be upgraded and developed further.

Puzzle, 2D, Puzzle Elements, Indie Games, Platformers, Singleplayer.
A sequel to the 2015 game Dreamals, a logic puzzle platform game by XINESS. You take control of a group of animals, each of which can only move in one direction. This time, the game features over a hundred levels set in varied environments and increasing level of difficulty. It is also once again possible to merge two animals into one creature. However, in Dreamals: Dream Quest you can also split the animals back, which allowed for the inclusion of more complex puzzles. In each level, you have to reach the key, which opens the passage to the next stage. Dreamals: Dream Quest utilizes the technology created for its predecessor, and the cartoonish 2D visuals are still pleasant.

Another major installment of the mobile action game series developed by Madfinger Games, a Czech studio known for Dead Trigger, among other titles. The action of Shadowgun: Legends takes place in the future, and we assume the role of spec ops soldiers whose task is to save the galaxy from an alien invasion. Contrary to its predecessor, the game is a first-person shooter with RPG elements which isn’t very different from other mobile FPSs. The production can be played both in single- and multiplayer mode. Starting out, we possess weak equipment and weapons. With time and subsequently completed missions, we gain experience and funds that let us buy various enhancements. What’s interesting, players’ actions have an influence on the game’s universe, thus making it constantly change.

Strategy, Economic, Singleplayer, Isometric View.
A mobile free-to-play economic strategy with comedy elements. Con Man: The Game bases on a license of Con Man, an internet series created by Alan Tudyk. The title makes fun of science-fiction movie genre. We assume the role of a Wray Nerely, a star of a cancelled series, who despite the loyal following from his fans doesn’t receive any new casting proposals. For a change, his friend from the set – Jack Moore makes a great movie career. In Con Man: The Game our task is to organize fan conventions that are frequented by the character from fictional series and movies, among them Wray Nerely and Jack Moore. The game includes a number of other plot threads and characters from Alan Tudyk’s series. The con has to be prepared – by inviting celebrities, setting up thematic stalls, summoning cosplayers, and so on – then making sure that it all runs smoothly. As a reward for our troubles, we gain new fans, and receive money needed to organize even more conventions. The game features a distinct satirical vibe, and fantasy fans will find a lot of tidbits and funny references.

Adventure, Indie Games, Point-and-click, Action Adventure, Singleplayer.
A mix of a point-and-click adventure and action game developed by independent German studio Animation Arts. During the game the player assumes the role of the titular adventure seeker and treasure hunter named Preston Sterling, who is examining the secrets of various myths and legends from the British Isles. As one could guess, each of his adventures is filled with various dangers and the protagonist will encounter many characters, not all of whom are friendly towards him. The gameplay differs from typical action-adventure titles because in addition to exploring the locations, speaking to encountered characters and solving various logic puzzles, the player also participates in various action sequences such as sneaking past guards or avoiding traps. The action is shown from a third-person perspective, but during the riddle solving and manipulation of various items the camera switches to first-person perspective.
