The game was developed by Nude Maker studio in cooperation with many genre veterans, who have created such franchises as Clock Tower, Silent Hill, and the Ju-On movie series. Night Cry takes place on a passenger ship. A series of brutal murders that take place there scares the passengers and makes it impossible to continue the cruise. The player assumes the role of one of the surviving passengers - his task is to discover the identity of the killer. The gameplay mechanics of the game focus on adventure-related activities such as exploration, collecting items, conversations and solving riddles (some of which have a time limit). From time to time one can also encounter action sequences. However, the player's objective is not to fight, but to hide from the murdered and – in case of being discovered – escape.

A horror-themed action-adventure game allowing us to assume the role of Juliette Waters, a woman whose occupation is recording the voices of spirits. Interestingly enough, Sylvio is a project of an independent developer, Niklas Swanberg. Our heroine travels to an abandoned amusement park, left to decay after a powerful storm had led to a landslide. It quickly turns out that the spirits living in the park are very vicious, and the whole area is under the influence of a mysterious curse. Juliette has to escape the cursed amusement park and discover the truth about the curse, staving off frightening dangers at the same time. The heroin has a few tricks up her sleeve – an unusual shotgun powered by pressurized air, able to propel any object that fits the barrel, and a very sensitive microphone that works on frequencies out of the range of the human ear. Such recordings can be saved and listened to in a customized speed, as the messages from the spirits are sometimes unintelligible. Aside from exploration and occasional combat, Sylvio often introduces puzzles solved in a typical adventure-game manner.

A console port of an independent old school fighting game, Yatagarasu, which became quite a success in 2011 in Japan. Legend of Raven takes us to 25th December 1926, when Japan faces a revolution. The government establishes a secret organization of assassins, who are ordered to restore the order and kill anyone opposing the authorities. For its symbol, the group takes a mythical three-legged raven Yatagarasu. Gameplay wise, Legend of Raven is a classic two-dimensional fighting game, featuring an old school style resembling the first entries in the Street Fighter series. The players can choose from various heroes, each with a unique special attack. Gameplay is fast-paced and uses 4-button control, with addition of upper and lower guard. Visuals consist of well-drawn backgrounds and character sprites. This version also features a new soundtrack and better background, as well as improved multiplayer mode.

A two-dimensional platformer game inspired by the classic, side-scroll representatives of the genre. It was created by Two Tribes – a Dutch developer popular mainly for the arcade-logic Toki Tori series. RIVE takes the player to an unspecified region of the galaxy, where they face an army of hostile robots, having taken control over a modern-day combat drone. Not only is the player-controlled drone able to move on surfaces, but it can also jump and fly, causing destruction within a radius of 360 degrees. What is more, the player can hack hostile machinery and affect its behaviour, which is done by collecting power-ups. In terms of the mechanics, the game follows the patterns established by classic platformers, though it offers up-to-date visuals – RIVE is filled with spectacular special effects. The gameplay itself is incredibly fast-paced here, offering an arcade experience without unnecessary boundaries.

A classic trading card game (TCG) set in a fantasy world where forces of Good and Evil fight each other divided into six different factions. It has been developed by Bulgarian Dream Reactor studio. Each of the factions’ heroes belongs to one of six play styles: Order, Wisdom, Nature, Corruption, Dominion, and Rage. They also have a unique skill each and can learn more of them, using special shrines, as the game progress. Fights in Spellweaver TCG employ a classic turn-based system, but we can use some of the spells or various battle tricks during opponent’s move. It offers a lot of tactical depth, while emphasizing the strategic aspect. The game has been developed with multiplayer mode in mind, where we can take part in tournaments and slowly climb up online rankings. For solitary players, developers prepared an extensive single player campaign.

Gameplay combines classic action fighting games with hack’n’slash titles, though developers gave up on extreme realism to offer a unique style and flat-out joy of playing. Title employs the advanced Unreal Engine 4.

The gameplay consists of cutting through the fruits appearing on screen by using the right moves, which are transferred via Kinect to your TV screen. There are several game modes to choose from, and to succeed you have to move fast and perform spectacular combos, while at the same time you have to avoid occasional explosives.

An unusual survival horror game created by Frederick Raynal and Gloomywood - a French studio. The game offers pixel-art visuals and is played from the classic top-down view. The player takes on the role of a criminologist by the name of Smith, whose wife got murdered and his children were kidnapped by unknown assailants. Despite the fact that 17 years have passed since then, the protagonist still searches for his children and those who killed his beloved woman - Smith tracks down subsequent serial killers who target juvenile victims. The player explores numerous dark locations and gathers various items that help either to avoid threats or to deal with them. However, the game focuses on saving those who have become targets, instead of punishing the psychopaths. Once the protagonist stumbles on innocents, they join Smith and collectively create a line of original figures following the protagonist. The children can be controlled by issuing simple commands. The player's actions get rewarded with bonus points when they manage to save a large number of children.

The campaign consists of five extensive chapters in which you take part in real battles over Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword beaches, and the Cherbourg port. Mechanically, the title is similar to its predecessor – during turn-based fights, the player can command more than 100 types of land, naval, and air units. With the experience the units gain, the player can shape their army, and the maps based on authentic cartographic materials require us to account for such factors as the type of terrain and vegetation. Eitr is an action-RPG based on the Norse mythology. It's the first game developed by the British studio Eneme Entertainment. Game's plot focuses on Yggdrasil, the world tree, that connects all of the nine worlds. When it was infected with a poisonous substance, the plague began to spread all over the nine realms. We play as a redheaded female warrior bestowed with powerful abilities by Loki, the trickster god. With those powers, she will try to stop the incoming darkness. We will spend most of our time exploring the game's world, gathering treasures, leveling up our hero, and eliminating hordes of enemies. Combat system in Eitr is much more complex than in other hack'n'slash games. In order to be victorious in battle, we have to perfectly time our attacks, blocks, and dodges. We will also have to pay attention to our hero's positioning and use her abilities wisely.

An unusual logic game enriched with elements associated with economic strategies and card games. Concrete Jungle was designed by the creators of MegaCity. The player assumes the role of a mayor whose task is to ensure dynamic development of a small town. Although this resembles a brief description of a typical economic strategy game, Concrete Jungle uses mechanics typical for logic and card games mainly. The player has their deck, which gets expanded gradually, and the cards represent particular buildings. Thus playing a card results in the building assigned to it appearing on the map. Each building affects its neighboring areas. For example, building a sewage treatment plant increases the price of land in the area, but parcels without connection to the plant will simultaneously get cheaper. The player's goal is to obtain a specified number of points from the inhabitants of a given section, which unlocks new places for construction. Concrete Jungle offers a story campaign, as well as a competition-based mode, which requires the player to achieve victory over the AI. One can also compete against other players or cooperate with them.

Battles take place in a randomly generated galaxy and, depending on the choices made throughout the game, the players can experience a different story. We can choose from many units that can be created from scratch by equipping them with different weapons, on-board systems and special modules. The game gives players a lot of room for tactics and requires them to be able to adapt to circumstances that can change at any moment, which means that the fleet must be constantly upgraded. With battles comes experience that allows the players to unlock new technologies and prepare their armies for the final confrontation.

Digital Combat Simulator Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst features the German WWII fighter aircraft Messerschmitt Bf 109 K series model 4. Like the previous games in the series, the title features faithfully rendered details, including the appearance of the aircraft, weapons, engine, communication system and electronics. The authors managed to recreate the characteristic elements of the aircraft, such as the visibility, which is limited due to the engine cover, or the tendency for the wings to drop when the machine touched the ground. The game features the interactive 6-DOF cockpit, typical for the series, in which you can use the mouse to control all the aircraft's systems. The production offers a series of single player missions and a multiplayer mode, in which you join forces with Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 aircraft and fight against the Allied P-51 D Mustangs.

Gameplay features a modified version of classic chess and offers two game modes. In the classic mode, you choose one of the available races, fight, and gradually unlock new characters and abilities. In the Regicide mode, rules are slightly more complicated – during their turn, players can move, open fire at enemies and environment elements, and use a whole range of psionic powers. Attractive visuals use motion capture technology and feature characteristic elements of the Warhammer stylistics.

A first-person adventure game featuring elements associated with survival horrors. Robert Dawn, the game's protagonist, explores the area of a former pharmaceutical facility located on an abandoned mining settlement, far away from the civilization and dating back to the late 1800s. Apparently, a mysterious incident took place in the lab back then, and the player's goal is to get to the bottom of this. The game focuses on exploration and requires the player to find various documents allowing him to reconstruct the events from the past. Furthermore, the player has to remain vigilant and avoid confrontation with the bizarre creatures inhabiting the place. Furthermore, the protagonist acquires telekinetic abilities as a result of a contact with a substance of unknown origin. This allows him to distract his enemies and solve problems related to exploration of this gloomy environment filled with different traps. Lethe utilizes the popular Unreal Engine 3, providing the game with quite decent visuals.

An unusual adventure game in which the player explores three unique worlds. Their observations are written as a diary. Elegy for a Dead World was developed by an independent studio Dejobaan Games, known for games like AaaaaA!!! A Reckless Disregard for Gravity and Drunken Robot Pornography. The main protagonist travels across the surfaces of three planets in search for the remains of a forgotten civilizations. His task is to examine the sculptures, buildings and mysterious machines, and to write about them. As for the latter, the player must manually fill the blanks in the writings appearing on the screen. Each time when the game is started, the player can assume the role of a different type of character – for example, an archeologist, a thief or a bard – which will impact the way the world is seen and the style of the written story. The game is inspired by the works of writers like John Keats, George Byron and Percy Shelley. The visual style of the game was inspired by the works of British painter J.M.W. Turner.
