Strategy, Napoleonic Era, Internet, Multiplayer, PBeM, Singleplayer, War Strategy, Turn-based.

A turn-based strategy game set during the Napoleonic Wars. The game was developed by AGEOD, a developer considered to be an able strategy game maker. The game offers four different scenarios set within different periods of Napoleon's rule. These include the so-called Grand Campaign (1805-1815) and a few smaller ones: Austerlitz (1805), Battle of Jena (1806), and Waterloo (1815). The battles are fought on the strategical level, so the player controls entire armies instead of individual soldiers. Apart form being able to control French forces, the player also has access to the British, Spanish, Russian, Austrian, Prussian, and Ottoman armies. The gameplay requires the player mainly to effectively lead their military forces, but also take manage supply lines, military improvements, and diplomacy. Similar to most of the previous games from AGEOD, this one also focuses on faithful recreation of historical events. However, the creators also allow the players to create alternative versions of history, providing the option to manipulate the outcomes of certain events.

An experimental, three-dimensional platformer offering an abstract, alluring game world. Bound is the third project developed by Plastic - a Polish team popular for a dark adventure game Datura and an artistic logic game Linger in Shadows. Similar to these titles, Bound was created exclusively for PlayStation 4 and it was developed in cooperation with Sony Santa Monica (the God of War series). Although the game is hard to classify, calling it simply a three-dimensional platformer is a relatively accurate description. Special emphasis was placed on puzzle solving, which is done together with other players. When creating the game world, the developers were inspired by works of abstract art from the beginning of the twentieth century - the player observes lively colors contrasting with one another, as well as simple blocks the virtual environments are made of. Additionally, certain elements of the in-game world are generated procedurally. Motion-capture techniques with the participation of Maria Udod (a professional, Russian dancer) were used in creation of character animations for the game.

A spin-off of a popular music game series developed over the years by Harmonix Music Systems. The largest novelty which distinguishes Rock Band VR from the main installments is obviously the support of Virtual Reality goggles. Subsequent performances are viewed here from the first-person perspective. Apart from that, however, the Rock Band gameplay formula remains unchanged. Once again, the player assumes the roles of individual rock band members in order to play the part of a drummer, guitarist or a singer, trying to recreate a given song to the best of their ability through pressing adequate buttons at the right time and linking them into combinations by doing so. The better the quality of one's performance, the larger the score. What is also worth noticing, is that members of a power metal band DragonForce took part in both the game's production process and its commercial campaign.

The game offers the widest selection of actual male and female MMA fighters thus far, as well as a wide range of single and multiplayer modes, especially the career mode that lets us lead our character from the bottom up to the top of leaderboards. During the game, a player assumes the role of a space merchant, who travels through dangerous regions of the galaxy supplying various goods to whoever pays most. The player’s objective is to earn a lot of money - since his vessel is designed for moving merchandise, a direct confrontation with an opponent will end tragically. This is also why the game does not deliver spectacular battle sequences, and the key aspect of the gameplay is to use the stealthy approach and avoid confrontation with large groups of enemies. In order to succeed, one has to properly manage their energy and resources and make a number of difficult decisions. The players, more than once, have to decide which systems of the vessel are to remain active, and which should be shut down.

In the game, the player becomes an embodiment of death itself, coming to Earth to stop an undead invasion. Both the sides of the conflict are a bit unusual, because the Grim Reaper uses knives and firearms instead of a scythe, and as for the undead, they are overly watchful and intelligent - they can even wield pistols and rifles. Deadbolt puts large emphasis on stealth-action gameplay. The protagonist usually dies from a single hit, which forces the players to stay hidden and attack by surprise. This does not mean the game lacks dynamism, because it features a cover system that allows for a fairly effective exchange of fire. Therefore, each of the levels in the game can be completed in multiple ways, depending on the player's preferences.

The Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast mobile game was developed by Roadhouse Interactive (the creators of Warhammer 40,000: Carnage) and 50cc Games. The title is distributed using the free-to-play model. In the game the player assumes the role of Eddie – the famous mascot of the band, well known from the covers of Iron Maiden albums. Eddie is traveling through a dangerous fantasy world and faces enemies from hell by using various melee weapons (including chains and a knuckle-duster) and magic superpowers. The battles are based on classic mechanics from turn-based RPGs – the attacks are performed alternately with the AI controlled opponents. As the protagonist gains experience, he unlocks new abilities and grows stronger. He also gathers allies who can fight alongside him. Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast offers three-dimensional graphics and during the game one can listen to Iron Maiden songs.

The fourth (and, according to its creators, final) entry in the warmly-welcomed adventure RPG series from inkle based on Sorcery!, a popular gamebook from 1983. Like the three previous titles, Sorcery! 4 offers a completely new story, so knowledge of the earlier games isn’t necessary to play. Once again, we can create a completely new character or import our old hero from the previous parts of the series. The gameplay of Sorcery! 4 employs the usual mechanics of the series, focusing on exploration and reading to get to know characters and the surrounding world. The story, however, develops non-linearly and is shaped by the numerous decisions the player had taken throughout the game. The game is complemented by the trademarks of the series: the character progression system and unique arcade combat.

The fun boils down to farting on the inhabitants of a remote town, which makes them join the eponymous Gassy Mob. Its only goal is to take revenge for the insult that its members have suffered at our hands so they aren’t very friendly to us. Our task is to stay alive as long and possible and fart on as many people as we can, thanks to which we gain points. The game features simple but incredibly colorful graphics with a funny style that draws attention mainly by adorable, flamboyant creatures.

A two-dimensional shooter set in a science fiction world, developed by Australian Awfully Nice studio. In The Bug Butcher, we play as a guy named Harry, who is a space exterminator of all kind of pests, just as he's received a profitable order to get rid of the vermin overrunning a research lab at a far-away planet, and save the scientists working there. However, it will prove to be more difficult than it seems, as the protagonist will face overgrown and very dangerous creatures. In terms of game mechanics, the game is a classic side-scrolling shooter, in which our main objective is sending the appearing enemies to their graves. We can move to right or left side of the screen, but can only shoot up, using a vast array of weaponry, including futuristic weapons like lasers or rocket launchers. The game is diversified by weapon customization, many different power-ups, and competitive multiplayer mode.

Created for mobile devices spin-off version of the popular Metal Gear series. The action of the game was set in the realities of the console Metal Gear Solid 4, and during the game we play as a character known to fans of the series hero, who thanks to aging gained a new nickname Old Snake. However, the mechanics of the game has been greatly simplified and devoid of stealth elements, and the game itself is a rather static shooting, in which we eliminate the opponents appearing in different parts of the screen, hiding behind the covers.

Strategy, Internet, Multiplayer, RTS, Singleplayer.

A simplistic RTS developed by Flaregames. It is a mobile spin-off to a series of tower defense games created by Subatomic Studios. The game is set in the world known from the previous installments and the player fights servants of a crazy scientist known as Dr. Catastrophe during an extensive story-based campaign. The mechanics combine elements of classic real-time strategy games with some aspects of casual titles for mobile devices, such as Clash of Clans. On one hand, the player is involved in managing their base, gathering resources, constructing new buildings and conducting research on technological improvements. On the other hand, the player trains an army, taking part in subsequent skirmishes against the enemies. During the battles, the player gives orders concerning movement and attack-related options freely, making the game resemble classic real-time strategies in this aspect. The enemy does not remain passive, for they try applying different tactics to make it more difficult for the player to achieve victory.
