An independent MMORPG that takes us to the world of upper classes as seen in novels by Jane Austen. The players enter the world of the upper crust in a quest to build a social standing and find their place in a unique society. In opposition to other MMORPGs, the heroes are described by a number of unusual statistics, such as happiness, duty, or status. These statistics affect the set of tricks that are at our disposal, including less honorable actions such as sowing rumors or sending fake letters. The players meet in numbers on various balls and dinners that take a number of different courses, stressing social skills, propriety, as well as caution – the interactions have to be measured according to their success which is determined by the skill level and the happiness of the given player. The heroes also have to choose their clothing, method of arrival, or measure the reception of their actions.

In addition to typical farming actions, Wild Season offers advanced simulation of life. The male or female protagonist can become a part of the local society, interact with neighbors, start friendships and romances, gain money by completing minor quests and even become a member of the local council. The citizens have advanced psychological portraits that include not only basic character traits but also various problems, addictions etc. What’s interesting, the village hides some dark secret to which one can get in various ways. The singleplayer campaign of the game is non-linear and it depends on player’s actions.

A historical simulation game developed by the creators of Avant-Garde RPG from AD1337, in which we manage a Renaissance painter’s guild. Players must seek out new talents, develop their skills and earn money by selling their paintings, while also using crafting system to create pigments, canvas and paintbrushes. Painters Guild offers many story campaigns, depicting life of famous artists, like Leonardo da Vinci or Andrea del Verrocchio. The main feature, however, is a sandbox mode, which let us play freely from 1400 to 1650. The game references to many real-life painting styles, with geniuses like Michelangelo, Raphael Santi, Sandro Botticelli and Caravaggio being accompanied by randomly generated characters. Each artist has his own personality and needs, and they can interact with other characters, even romancing with them. The Renaissance in Painters Guild is far from a faithful recreation, which is emphasized by pixelated retro visuals.

There are four open worlds to explore. An important aspect of Aderyn's Cradle is the crafting system allowing you to create healing and stamina potions. Cosmonautica allows us to become a captain of a spaceship, his objective being to build a small trading company. The player can explore the galaxy, comprised of randomly generated star systems, and search for various goods that are capable of bringing a profit. During our visits in spaceports, we can take up tasks that may end up in a fight. Management of the ship and its crew is an important aspect of the game – the vessel requires constant refuels, repairs, and modifications to stay competitive, while our crew has to be taken care of, and assigned to various tasks, all while making sure that the individual crew members want to cooperate with each other. Aside from the sandbox mode, the game contains the ability to create and take part in single scenarios. Cosmonautica is characterized by simple cartoonish visuals.
